Silsilah as-Sahihah 259 — Allah loves both praise and apology

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Aswad bin Sari’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Allah is the One who loves praise the most, and Allah is the One who accepts excuses the most.”
