Silsilah as-Sahihah 2246 — Righteous deeds should be kept hidden

Sayyiduna Zubair bin Al-Awwam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has the ability to keep (righteous) deeds hidden, then he should keep them hidden."
