Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 828 — s on the Sutrah for the Praying Person
نَا بُنْدَارٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ ، نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْهِرَّةُ لا تَقْطَعُ الصَّلاةَ ، إِنَّهَا مِنْ مَتَاعِ الْبَيْتِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A cat does not break the prayer; indeed, it is from the household possessions."
