نَاهُ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ بنِ كُلَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " حِينَ جَلَسَ فِي الصَّلاةِ افْتَرَشَ رِجْلَهُ الْيُسْرَى ، وَنَصَبَ رِجْلَهُ الْيُمْنَى "
Sayyiduna Wa'il bin Hujr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), when he sat in prayer, he spread his left foot and kept his right foot upright.
