Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 528 — 115: Recitation in Fajr prayer
نا الصَّغَانِيُّ ، نا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْمِنْهَالِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ " يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلاةِ الْغَدَاةِ بِالْمِائَةِ إِلَى السِّتِّينَ ، أَوِ السِّتِّينَ إِلَى الْمِائَةِ " . قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : أَبُو الْمِنْهَالِ هُوَ سَيَّارُ بْنُ سَلامَةَ بَصْرِيٌّ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite from sixty to one hundred verses or from one hundred to sixty verses in the Fajr prayer. Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Abu Minhal is Sayyar bin Salamah Basri.
