نَاهُ عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، نا شَيْبَانُ ، نا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُمَارَةَ بْنَ رُوَيْبَةَ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " لَنْ يَلِجَ النَّارَ أَحَدٌ صَلَّى قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ ، وَلا غُرُوبِهَا " ، فَجَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ ، فَقَالَ : أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ بِأَنَّكَ سَمِعْتَهُ
Sayyiduna ‘Ammarah bin Ruwaybah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying, “No person will ever enter the Fire who has performed prayer before the rising of the sun and before its setting.” Then a man from the people of Basrah came to him and said, “Did you hear this statement from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)?” He replied, “Yes.” So the man said, “And I also bear witness that indeed you heard (this statement) from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).”
