نا بُنْدَارٌ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، نا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، نا قَيْسٌ ، قَالَ : قَالَ جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ : كُنَّا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " فَإِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَنْ لا تُغْلَبُوا عَلَى صَلاةٍ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا "
Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that we were sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he said: "If you are able not to be overcome regarding the prayer before sunrise (the Fajr prayer) and the prayer before sunset (the Asr prayer), then be sure to perform them on time."
