(407) بَابُ حَجِّ الرَّجُلِ عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ الَّتِي لَا تَسْتَطِيعُ الْحَجَّ مِنَ الْكِبَرِ
A man performing Hajj on behalf of a woman unable to do so due to old age.
Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 3038 — A man performing Hajj on behalf of a woman
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي الْحَجَّاجِ ، عَنْ عَوْفٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِثْلِ ذَلِكَ ، إِلا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : السَّائِلُ سَأَلَ عَنْ أُمِّهِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) in a similar manner as mentioned above, with only this difference that in this narration, a questioner asked about his mother.
