حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ بْنِ كُرَيْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سِنَانُ بْنُ مُظَاهِرٍ ، عَنْ زُهَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا تَذْبَحُوا إِلا مُسِنَّةً إِلا أَنْ يَعْسُرَ عَلَيْكُمْ ، فَتَذْبَحُوا جَذَعَةً مِنَ الضَّأْنِ "
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Only sacrifice a two-toothed animal, except if you do not find a two-toothed animal, then sacrifice a one-year-old lamb."
