Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 2751 — Prohibition of leading someone in tawaf
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ الأَحْوَلُ ، أَنَّ طَاوُسًا ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْكَعْبَةِ بِرَجُلٍ يَقُودُ رَجُلا بِخِزَامَةٍ فِي أَنْفِهِ ، فَقَطَعَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَقُودَهُ بِيَدِهِ ، قَالَ : وَمَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْكَعْبَةِ بِرَجُلٍ قَدْ زَنَقَ بِسَيرٍ يَدَ رَجُلٍ أَوْ بِخَيْطٍ أَوْ بِشَيْءٍ غَيْرِ ذَلِكَ ، فَقَطَعَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَقَالَ : " قُدْهُ بِيَدِكَ " .
Tawoos narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) passed by a man while performing Tawaf of the Ka'bah, who was leading another man around by a rein tied to his nose. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) cut it off and then ordered that man to lead him by hand for Tawaf. He narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) passed by a man while performing Tawaf of the Ka'bah, who had tied another man's hand with a strap, thread, or something else. The Prophet (peace be upon him) cut it off and said: "Lead him by hand for Tawaf."
