(123) بَابُ إِخْرَاجِ الزَّبِيبِ وَالْأَقِطِ فِي صَدَقَةِ الْفِطْرِ.

حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلانَ ، عَنْ عِيَاضٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، كَانَ يَأْمُرُهُمْ بِصَدَقَةِ رَمَضَانَ نِصْفَ صَاعٍ حِنْطَةً ، أَوْ صَاعَ تَمْرٍ ، فَقَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ : " لا نُعْطِي إِلا مَا كُنَّا نُعْطِي عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ ، أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ أَقِطٍ ، أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ زَبِيبٍ ، أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) used to instruct people to give half a sa' of wheat or one sa' of dates as Sadaqat al-Fitr. So Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) said that we will give the same thing and the same amount as we used to give during the blessed era of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), that is, one sa' of dates, or one sa' of cheese, or one sa' of raisins, or one sa' of barley.
