Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 2197 — the Messenger of Allah
أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَهُمْ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أُرِيتُ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ ، ثُمَّ أَيْقَظَنِي أَهْلِي فَنَسِيتُهَا ، فَالْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْغَوَابِرِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Laylat al-Qadr was shown to me (in a dream), then my family woke me up and I forgot it. Therefore, seek it in the last ten nights."
