Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 2101 — the Messenger of Allah
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دِحْيَةَ حَوْشَبُ بْنُ عُقَيْلٍ الْجَرْمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبْدِيُّ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صَوْمِ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ بِعَرَفَاتٍ "
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade fasting on the day of Arafah at the place of Arafat.
