Sahih Ibn Hibban 6554 — Book of History
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ الْحَافِظُ بِتُسْتَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ الْقَطَّانِ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَتَبَ إِِلَى كِسْرَى ، وَقَيْصَرَ ، وَأُكَيْدِرَ دُومَةَ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِِلَى اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلا " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) wrote letters to Kisra, Caesar, and the ruler of Duma, Ukaydir. He invited them to come towards Allah Almighty.
