Sahih Ibn Hibban 5477 — Prohibition of Neglecting Mustache Trimming
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي يُوسُفُ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ لَمْ يَأْخُذْ شَارِبَهُ ، فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا " .
Sayyiduna Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever does not trim his moustache is not from among us."
