Sahih Ibn Hibban 4887 — Book of Lost Property
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ الْجَذْمِيِّ ، عَنِ الْجَارُودِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " ضَالَّةُ الْمُسْلِمِ حَرَقُ النَّارِ " .
Sayyiduna Jarud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "The lost property of a Muslim is a flame of Hell."
