Sahih Ibn Hibban 2808 — Friday Prayer - Permission to recite "Glorify
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلاةِ الْجُمُعَةِ بِ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى ، وَ هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ " .
Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite Surah Al-A'la and Surah Al-Ghashiyah in the Friday prayer.
