أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حَبِيبِ بْنِ الشَّهِيدِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا نُصَلِّي وَالدَّوَابُّ تَمُرُّ بَيْنَ أَيْدِينَا ، فَسَأَلْنَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " مِثْلُ آخِرَةِ الرَّحْلِ يَكُونُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ أَحَدِكُمْ ، فَلا يَضُرُّهُ مَا مَرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ " .
Musa bin Talha narrates from his father that we used to be performing prayer. Animals would pass in front of us. We asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) about this, and he said: When there is something in front of you equal to the back part of a saddle, then nothing that passes on the other side of it will harm you.
