«كان يفطر على رطبات قبل أن يصلي فإن لم تكن رطبات فتمرات فإن لم تكن تمرات حسا حسوات من ماء»
It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"He (peace and blessings be upon him) would break his fast with fresh dates before praying; if there were no fresh dates, then with dried dates; and if there were no dried dates either, he would take a few sips of water."
