«كان يغتسل بالصاع ويتوضأ بالمد»
It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"He (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform the ritual bath (ghusl) with one sa' of water and perform ablution with one mudd of water."
