«كان يصلي من الليل ثلاث عشرة ركعة منها الوتر وركعتا الفجر»
It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"He (peace and blessings be upon him) would pray thirteen rak'ahs at night, including the Witr and the two Sunnah rak'ahs of Fajr."
