«كان يصلي قبل الظهر أربعا إذا زالت الشمس،.......... ويقول: أبواب السماء تفتح إذا زالت الشمس»
It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When the sun had passed its zenith, He (peace and blessings be upon him) would pray four rak'ahs before Zuhr, and he would say: 'When the sun passes its zenith, the gates of the heaven are opened.'"
