«كان يشرب ثلاثة أنفاس يسمي الله في أوله ويحمد الله في آخره»
It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"He (peace and blessings be upon him) would drink water in three breaths, saying Bismillah at the beginning and Alhamdulillah at the end."
