«كان يبيع نخل بني النضير ويحبس لأهله قوت سنتهم»
It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"He (peace and blessings be upon him) would sell the produce of the date-palm orchards of Banu al-Nadir and keep back for his family their provision for a year."
