«كان شعره دون الجمة وفوق الوفرة»
It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"His (peace and blessings be upon him) hair was shorter than a jummah (hair reaching the shoulders) and longer than a wafrah (hair reaching the earlobes)."
