Sahih al-Jami al-Saghir 4776 — When it was the day of Eid, he ﷺ would
«كان إذا كان يوم عيد خالف الطريق»
It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When it was the day of Eid, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would take a different route (on his return)."
"When it was the day of Eid, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would take a different route (on his return)."
