«كان إذا استفتح الصلاة قال:» سبحانك اللهم وبحمدك وتبارك اسمك وتعالى جدك ولا إله غيرك "
It was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"When he (peace and blessings be upon him) began the prayer, he would say: 'Glory be to You, O Allah, and all praise is Yours; blessed is Your name, exalted is Your majesty, and there is no god besides You.'"
