«الكبائر: الإشراك بالله وقذف المحصنة وقتل النفس المؤمنة والفرار يوم الزحف وأكل مال اليتيم وعقوق الوالدين المسلمين وإلحاد بالبيت قبلتكم أحياء وأمواتا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The major sins are: associating partners with Allah, slandering a chaste woman, killing a believing soul, fleeing from the battlefield of jihad, consuming the wealth of an orphan, disobedience to Muslim parents, and deviating in (violating) the sanctity of the House (the Ka'bah), which is your qiblah both in life and in death."
