«كيف أنتم إذا لم تجتبوا دينارا ولا درهما؟ تنتهك ذمة الله وذمة رسوله يشد الله قلوب أهل الذمة فيمنعون ما في أيديهم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"How will you be when you are unable to collect (from the protected non-Muslims) either a dinar or a dirham? The covenant of Allah and the covenant of His Messenger will be violated, so Allah will harden the hearts of the protected people (ahl al-dhimmah), and they will withhold what is in their hands."
