«قد اجتمع في يومكم هذا عيدان فمن شاء أجزأه عن الجمعة وإنا مجمعون إن شاء الله تعالى»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Two Eids have come together on this day of yours, so whoever wishes, this (Eid prayer) suffices him in place of the Jumu'ah; and we, if Allah wills, will hold the Jumu'ah."
