«الفطر يوم يفطر الناس والأضحى يوم يضحي الناس»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Eid al-Fitr is the day on which the people break the fast, and Eid al-Adha is the day on which the people offer the sacrifice."
