«فضلنا على الناس بثلاث: جعلت صفوفنا كصفوف الملائكة وجعلت لنا الأرض كلها مسجدا وجعلت تربتها لنا طهورا إذا لم نجد الماء وأعطيت هذه الآيات من آخر سورة البقرة من كنز تحت العرش لم يعطها نبي قبلي»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"We have been favoured over the people with three things: our rows have been made like the rows of the angels; the whole earth has been made a place of prostration for us; its soil has been made a means of purification for us when we do not find water; and I have been given these verses at the end of Surah al-Baqarah from a treasure beneath the Throne, which were not given to any Prophet before me."
