«شعبان بين رجب وشهر رمضان تغفل الناس عنه ترفع فيه أعمال العباد فأحب أن لا يرفع عملي إلا وأنا صائم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Sha'ban, between Rajab and Ramadan, is a month about which people are heedless. In it the deeds of the servants are raised (to Allah), so I love that my deed is raised while I am fasting."
