«شر الطعام طعام الوليمة يمنعها من يأتيها ويدعى إليها من يأباها ومن لا يجب الدعوة فقد عصى الله ورسوله»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The worst food is the food of a wedding feast (walimah) from which those who would come are kept away and to which those who would not come are invited. And whoever does not accept an invitation has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger."
