«سيصيب أمتي داء الأمم: الأشر والبطر والتكاثر والتشاحن في الدنيا والتباغض والتحاسد حتى يكون البغي»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"My Ummah will be afflicted by the same disease that afflicted the (earlier) nations: arrogance, insolence, the race for abundance of wealth in the world, mutual rancour, hatred and envy, until transgression and oppression arise."
