«الدين دينان فمن مات وهو ينوي قضاءه فأنا وليه ومن مات ولا ينوي قضاءه فذاك الذي يؤخذ من حسناته ليس يومئذ دينار ولا درهم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Debt is of two kinds: whoever dies intending to repay it, I am his guardian (guarantor); and whoever dies not intending to repay it, that is the one from whose good deeds it will be taken (on the Day of Resurrection), for on that day there will be neither dinar nor dirham."
