«دخلت الجنة فإذا أنا بقصر من ذهب فقلت: لمن هذا القصر؟ قالوا: لشاب من قريش فظننت أني أنا هو فقلت: ومن هو؟ قالوا: عمر بن الخطاب فلولا ما علمت من غيرتك لدخلته»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"I entered Paradise and saw a palace of gold there. I asked: 'Whose palace is this?' It was said: 'It belongs to a young man of Quraysh.' I thought that perhaps it was me, so I asked: 'Who is he?' It was said: 'Umar bin al-Khattab.' (Then he said: O Umar!) Had I not known of your sense of honour, I would have entered it."
