Hadith 15
حَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحِ بْنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ الْمِصْرِيُّ ، أَنْبَأَنَا
اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنِ
ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ
عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّ
عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ ، حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ خَاصَمَ الزُّبَيْرَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي شِرَاجِ الْحَرَّةِ الَّتِي يَسْقُونَ بِهَا النَّخْلَ ، فَقَالَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ : سَرِّحِ الْمَاءَ يَمُرُّ ، فَأَبَى عَلَيْهِ ، فَاخْتَصَمَا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اسْقِ يَا زُبَيْرُ ، ثُمَّ أَرْسِلِ الْمَاءَ إِلَى جَارِكَ ، فَغَضِبَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنْ كَانَ ابْنَ عَمَّتِكَ ؟ فَتَلَوَّنَ وَجْهُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : يَا زُبَيْرُ " اسْقِ ، ثُمَّ احْبِسِ الْمَاءَ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ إِلَى الْجَدْرِ " قَالَ ، فَقَال :
الزُّبَيْرُ : وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لَأَحْسَبُ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ نَزَلَتْ فِي ذَلِكَ ، فَلا وَرَبِّكَ لا يُؤْمِنُونَ حَتَّى يُحَكِّمُوكَ فِيمَا شَجَرَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ لا يَجِدُوا فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ حَرَجًا مِمَّا قَضَيْتَ وَيُسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا سورة النساء آية 65 .
´It was narrated from Urwah bin Zubair that 'Abdullah bin Zubair told him that:` A man from the Ansar had a dispute with Zubair in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) concerning a stream in the Harrah which they used to irrigate the date-palm trees. The Ansari said: "Let the water flow" but Zubair refused. So they referred that dispute to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) who said: "Irrigate (your land), O Zubair., and then let the water flow to your neighbor." The Ansari became angry and said "O Messenger of Allah, is it because he is your cousin?" The face of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) changed color (because of anger) and he said: "O Zubair, irrigate (your land) then block the water until it flows back to the walls around the date-palm trees." Zubair said: "By Allah, I think that this verse was revealed concerning this matter. ' But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (O Muhammad) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission.' "
Hadith 32
´It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Whoever tells lies about me', I (the narrator) think that he also said 'deliberately', let him take his place in Hell.'"
Hadith 130
´It was narrated that Sa'eed bin Musayyab said:` "I heard Sa'd bin Abu Waqqas say: 'The Messenger of Allah mentioned his parents together for me on the Day of Uhud. He said: 'Shoot, Sa'd! May my father and mother be sacrificed for you!'"
Hadith 317
´'Abdullah bin Harith bin Jaz' Az-Zubaidi said:` "I am the first one who heard the Prophet say: 'No one among you should urinate facing towards the Qiblah,' and I am the first one who told the people of that."
Hadith 343
´It was narrated from Jabir that:` The Messenger of Allah forbade urinating into standing water.
Hadith 376
´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` "The Messenger of Allah and I would take a bath from a single vessel."
Hadith 465
´Umm Hani' bint Abu Talib narrated that :` When it was the year of the Conquest (of Makkah), the Messenger of Allah got up to perform a bath and Fatimah screened him. Then he took his garment and wrapped himself in it (such that it became like the towel used to dry oneself).
Hadith 540
´It was narrated from Mu'awiyah bin Abu Sufyan that:` He asked his sister Umm Habibah, the wife of the Prophet: "Did the Messenger of Allah ever offered prayer in a garment in which he had sexual intercourse?" She said: "Yes, if there was nothing noxious on it."
Hadith 545
´It was narrated from 'Urwah bin Mughirah bin Shu'bah from his father Mughirah bin Shu'bah, that:` The Messenger of Allah went out to relieve himself, and Mughirah followed him with a vessel of water. When he finished relieving himself, he performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks.
Hadith 565
´It was narrated that 'Ammar bin Yasir said:` "Aishah dropped a necklace and stayed behind to look for it. Abu Bakr went to 'Aishah and got angry with her for keeping the people waiting. Then Allah revealed the concession allowing dry ablution, so we wiped our arms up to the shoulders. Abu Bakr went to 'Aishah and said: 'I did not know that you are blessed.'"
Hadith 584
´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` "When the Messenger of Allah wanted to sleep and he was sexually impure, he would perform ablution as for prayer."
Hadith 614
´It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Harith bin Nawfal said:` "I asked whether the Messenger of Allah prayed voluntary prayer when traveling, but I could not find anyone to tell me until Umm Hani' bint Abu Talib told me that he had come during the year of the Conquest (of Makkah). He ordered that a screen be held up, and that was done, and he took a bath; then he prayed eight Rak'ah (units) of voluntary prayer."
Hadith 620
´It was narrated from 'Urwah bin Zubair that Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish narrated to him that:` She went to the Messenger of Allah and complained to him about bleeding. The Messenger of Allah said: "Rather that is a vein, so look and see when your period comes, then do not perform the prayer. When the period is over, then purify yourself and perform the prayer between one period to the next."
Hadith 668
حَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ، أَنْبَأَنَا
اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنِ
ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ قَاعِدًا عَلَى مَيَاثِرِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ فِي إِمَارَتِهِ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ ، وَمَعَهُ عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ ، فَأَخَّر عُمَرُ الْعَصْرَ شَيْئًا ، فَقَالَ لَهُ
عُرْوَةُ : أَمَا إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ نَزَلَ فَصَلَّى إِمَامَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ عُمَرُ : اعْلَمْ مَا تَقُولُ يَا عُرْوَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ
بَشِيرَ بْنَ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ
أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " نَزَلَ جِبْرِيلُ فَأَمَّنِي فَصَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّيْتَ مَعَهُ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّيْتَ مَعَهُ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ ، يَحْسُبُ بِأَصَابِعِهِ خَمْسَ صَلَوَاتٍ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn Shihab that:` He was sitting on the cushions of 'Umar bin 'Abdul-'Aziz when he was the leader over Al-Madinah, and with him was 'Urwah bin Zubair. "umar delayed 'Asr somewhat, and 'Urwah said to him: "Jibril came down and led the Messenger of Allah in prayer." 'Umar said to him: "Know what you are saying, O 'Urwah!" he said: "I heard Bashir bin Abu Mas'ud saying, 'I heard Abu Mas'ud saying, "I heard the Messenger of Allah saying, 'Jibril came down and led me in prayer, and I prayed with him, then I prayed with him, then I prayed with him, then I prayed with him, then I prayed with him,' and he counted five prayers on his fingers."
Hadith 678
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:` The Messenger of Allah said: "When it is very hot, then wait for it to cool down before you pray, for intense heat is from the flaring up of the Hell-fire."
Hadith 682
´It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that:` The Messenger of Allah used to pray 'Asr when the sun was still hot and high, and if a person were to go to the suburbs (of Al-Madinah) he would be able to reach it while the sun was still hot and high.
Hadith 721
´It was narrated from Sa'd bin Abu Waqqas that:` The Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever says, when he hears the Mu'adh-dhin, 'Wa ana Ash-hadu an la ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lahu, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasuluhu, radaytu Billahi rabban wa bil-islami dinan wa bi muhammadin nabiyyan (And I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger, and I am content with Allah as my Lord, Islam as my religion and Muhammad as my Prophet),' his sins will be forgiven to him."
Hadith 763
حَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ، أَنْبَأَنَا
اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ
نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ
عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي بَيْنَ يَدَيِ النَّاسِ فَحَتَّهَا ، ثُمَّ قَالَ حِينَ انْصَرَفَ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ : " إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا كَانَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ قِبَلَ وَجْهِهِ ، فَلَا يَتَنَخَّمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ قِبَلَ وَجْهِهِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ " .
´It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin 'Umar said:` "The Messenger of Allah saw some sputum in the prayer direction of the mosque, when he was praying in front of the people. He scratched it off, then when the prayer was over, he said: 'When anyone of you is performing prayer, Allah is before him, so none of you should spit toward the front while praying.'"
Hadith 766
´It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib from his father, from his grandfather that:` The Messenger of Allah forbade making lost-and-found announcements in the mosque.
Hadith 836
حَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ ، أَنْبَأَنَا
اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ
أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ
جَابِرٍ ، أَنَّ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ صَلَّى بِأَصْحَابِهِ الْعِشَاءَ فَطَوَّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اقْرَأْ ب : الشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا وَ سَبِّحْ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى و اللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى وَ اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ " .
´It was narrated from Jabir that Mu’adh bin Jabal led his companions for the ‘Isha’ and he made the prayer too long for them. The Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “Recite ‘By the sun and its brightness,’[Al-Shams (91)] ‘Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High,’ [Al-A’la (87)] ‘By the night as it envelops,’ [Al-Lail (92)] or, ‘Read! In the Name of your Lord Who has created.’” [Al-‘Alaq (96)]
Hadith 888
´It was narrated from Hudhaifah bin Al-Yaman that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say when he bowed:` “Subhana Rabbiyal-‘Azim (Glory is to my Lord, the Most Great)” three times, and when he prostrated he said: “Subhana Rabbiyal-A’la (Glory is to my Lord the Most High)” three times.
Hadith 900
حَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ ، أَنْبَأَنَا
اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ
أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ
سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ،
وَطَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ
ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعَلِّمُنَا التَّشَهُّدَ كَمَا يُعَلِّمُنَا السُّورَةَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ ، فَكَانَ يَقُولُ : " التَّحِيَّاتُ الْمُبَارَكَاتُ الصَّلَوَاتُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ لِلَّهِ ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to teach us the Tashah-hud as he used to teach us a Surah of the Qur’an. He used to say: ‘At-Tahiyyatul-Mubarakatus salawatut-tayyibatu lillah; As-salamu ‘alayka ayyuhan-Nabiyyu wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu; as-salamu ‘alayna wa ‘ala ‘ibadillahis-salihin. Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa Rasuluhu (All blessed compliments and good prayers are due to Allah; peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings; peace be upon us and upon the righteous slaves of Allah. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger).’”
Hadith 986
حَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ ، أَنْبَأَنَا
اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ
أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ
جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : صَلَّى مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ بِأَصْحَابِهِ صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ ، فَطَوَّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ ، فَانْصَرَفَ رَجُلٌ مِنَّا ، فَصَلَّى ، فَأُخْبِرَ مُعَاذٌ عَنْهُ ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّهُ مُنَافِقٌ ، فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلَ دَخَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَهُ مَا قَالَ لَهُ مُعَاذٌ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَتُرِيدُ أَنْ تَكُونَ فَتَّانًا يَا مُعَاذُ ، إِذَا صَلَّيْتَ بِالنَّاسِ فَاقْرَأْ ب : الشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا وَ سَبِّحْ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَ اللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى وَ اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ " .
´It was narrated that Jabir said:` “Mu’adh bin Jabal Al-Ansari led his companions in the ‘Isha’ prayer and he made it long. A man among us went away and prayed by himself. Mu’adh was told about that and he said: ‘He is a hypocrite.’ When the man heard about that, he went to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and told him what Mu’adh had said to him. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: ‘Do you want to be a cause of Fitnah (trial, tribulation), O Mu’adh? When you lead the people in prayer, recite “By the sun and its brightness,”[Ash-Shams 91] and “Glorify the Name of your Lord the Most High,” [Al-A’la 87] and “By the night as it envelopes,” [Al-Lail 92] and “Recite in the Name of your Lord.’”[Al-‘Alaq]
Hadith 1018
´It was narrated that Jabir said:` “The Prophet (ﷺ) sent me on an errand, then I caught up with him while he was performing prayer, and I greeted him. He gestured to me, then when he finished, he called me and said: ‘You greeted me before, but I was performing prayer.’”
Hadith 1066
´It was narrated from Umayyah bin ‘Abdullah bin Khalid that he said to ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar:` “We find (mention of) the prayer of the resident and the prayer in a state of fear in the Qur’an, but we do not find any mention of the prayer of the traveler. ‘Abdullah said to him: “Allah sent Muhammad (ﷺ) to us, and we did not know anything, rather we do what we saw Muhammad (ﷺ) doing.”
Hadith 1130
´It was narrated that when ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar had prayed Friday, he went and prayed two Rak’ah in his house. Then he said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to do that.”
Hadith 1133
It was narrated from ‘Amr bin Shu’aib, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade sitting in circles in the mosque on Fridays before the prayer.
Hadith 1145
It was narrated from Hafsah bint ‘Umar that when the call for the Subh prayer was given, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would pray two short Rak’ah before going to the prayer.
Hadith 1168
´It was narrated that Kharijah bin Hudhafah Al-‘Adawi said:` “The Prophet (ﷺ) came out to us and said: ‘Allah has increased a prayer for you which is better for you than red camels. (It is) Witr, which Allah has enjoined on you between the ‘Isha’ prayer and the onset of dawn.’”
Hadith 1240
حَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ، أَنْبَأَنَا
اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ
أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ
جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : اشْتَكَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَصَلَّيْنَا وَرَاءَهُ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ يُكَبِّرُ يُسْمِعُ النَّاسَ تَكْبِيرَهُ ، فَالْتَفَتَ إِلَيْنَا ، فَرَآنَا قِيَامًا ، فَأَشَارَ إِلَيْنَا فَقَعَدْنَا ، فَصَلَّيْنَا بِصَلَاتِهِ قُعُودًا ، فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنْ كِدْتُمْ أَنْ تَفْعَلُوا فِعْلَ فَارِسَ وَالرُّومِ ، يَقُومُونَ عَلَى مُلُوكِهِمْ وَهُمْ قُعُودٌ ، فَلَا تَفْعَلُوا ، ائْتَمُّوا بِأَئِمَّتِكُمْ إِنْ صَلَّى قَائِمًا فَصَلُّوا قِيَامًا ، وَإِنْ صَلَّى قَاعِدًا فَصَلُّوا قُعُودًا " .
´It was narrated that Jabir said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) fell ill, and we prayed behind him while he was sitting down, and Abu Bakr was saying the Takbir so that the people could hear them. He turned to us and saw us standing, so he gestured to us to sit down. When he had said the Salam, he said: ‘You were about to do the action of the Persians and Romans, who remain standing while their kings are seated. Do not do that. Follow the lead of your Imam; if he prays standing, then pray standing, and if he prays sitting down, then pray sitting down.’”
Hadith 1319
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “The night prayer is (to be offered) two by two.”
Hadith 1396
حَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ ، أَنْبَأَنَا
اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ
أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ
سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَظُنُّهُ ، عَنْ
عَاصِمِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ الثَّقَفِيِّ ، أَنَّهُمْ غَزَوْا غَزْوَةَ السُّلَاسِلِ ، فَفَاتَهُمُ الْغَزْوُ ، فَرَابَطُوا ، ثُمَّ رَجَعُوا إِلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ ، وَعِنْدَهُ أَبُو أَيُّوبَ ، وَعُقْبَةُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، فَقَالَ عَاصِمٌ : يَا
أَبَا أَيُّوبَ ، فَاتَنَا الْغَزْوُ الْعَامَ ، وَقَدْ أُخْبِرْنَا : أَنَّهُ مَنْ صَلَّى فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ الْأَرْبَعَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ ذَنْبُهُ ، فَقَالَ : يَا ابْنَ أَخِي ، أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى أَيْسَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ ، إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ كَمَا أُمِرَ ، وَصَلَّى كَمَا أُمِرَ ، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا قَدَّمَ مِنْ عَمَلٍ " ، أَكَذَلِكَ يَا
عُقْبَةُ ؟ ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ .
´It was narrated from ‘Asim bin Sufyan Thaqafi that they went on the campaign of Salasil, but no battle took place; they only took up their positions. Then they came back to Mu’awiyah, and Abu Ayyub and ‘Uqbah bin ‘Amir were with him. ‘Asim said:` “O Abu Ayyub, we have missed out on Jihad this year, and we were told that whoever prays in the four mosques will be forgiven his sins.” He said: “O son of my brother, shall I not tell you of something easier than that? I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘Whoever performs ablution as he has been commanded, and prays as he has been commanded, will be forgiven his previous (bad) deeds.’” He said: “(Did he not say it) like that, O ‘Uqbah?” He said: “Yes.”
Hadith 1514
´It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to put two or three of the slain of Uhud in one shroud. He would ask:` “Which of them had memorized more Qur’an?” And if one of them was pointed out to him, he would put him in the niche-grave first. And he said: “I am a witness over them.” He commanded that they should be buried with their blood, and that the funeral prayer should not be offered for them and they should not be washed.

´It was narrated from ‘Amir bin Rabi’ah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “When you see a funeral (procession) stand up for it until it has passed by or it is placed on the ground.”

´It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` "Patience should come with the first shock."
Hadith 1639
´Mutarrif, from the tribe of Banu ‘Amir bin Sa’sa’ah narrated that ‘Uthman bin Abul-‘As Ath-Thaqafi invited him to drink some milk that he poured for him. Mutarrif said:` “I am fasting.” ‘Uthman said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘Fasting is a shield against the Fire just like the shield of anyone of you against fighting.’”
Hadith 1717
´It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever fasts one day in the cause of Allah, Allah will keep the Fire away from his face the distance of seventy autumns (years) for that day.”

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ ، أَنْبَأَنَا
اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ
نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ
عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّهُ ذُكِرَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمُ عَاشُورَاءَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كَانَ يَوْمًا يَصُومُهُ أَهْلُ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ، فَمَنْ أَحَبَّ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَصُومَهُ فَلْيَصُمْهُ ، وَمَنْ كَرِهَهُ فَلْيَدَعْهُ " .
´It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar that the Day of ‘Ashura’ was mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “That was a day when the people of the Ignorance used to fast. So whoever among you wants to fast may do so, and whoever does not want to may leave it.”
Hadith 1776
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “I used to enter the house to relieve myself, and there was a sick person there, and I only inquired after him as I was passing through.” She said: “And the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would not enter the house except to relieve himself, then they were observing I’tikaf.”

´Ibn Umar narrated that:` the Messenger of Allah enjoined Zakatul-Fitr, one Sa of dates or one Sa of barley.Abdullah said: The people made two Mudd (equal to half of a Sa) of wheat as its equivalent.
