Hadith 1016
Adi bin Hatim reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) made a mention of Fire. He turned his face aside and diverted his attention and then said: Guard (yourselves) against Fire. He turned his face and diverted his attention till we thought as if he were (actually seeing it and then said: Protect yourselves against Fire even if it is with half a date, and he who does not find it, (he should do so) with pleasant words. Abu Kuraib did not mention the word: (as if).
Hadith 1023
Abu Musa reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying: The honest Muslim trustee who spends (sometimes he said "who gives") what he is commanded to do and he gives that in full with his heart overflowing with cheerfulness and he gives it to one to whom he is ordered, he is one of the givers of charity.
Hadith 1041
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: He who begs the riches of others to increase his own is asking only for live coals, so let him ask a little or much.
Hadith 1066
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of A'mash with the same chain of transmitters, but (these words) are not there: "They pass through the religion clean as the arrow passes through the prey."
Hadith 1071
Anas bin Malik (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) found a date lying on the path and said: If it were not out of Sadaqa, I would have eaten it.
Hadith 1075
'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) said: Three are the decions (of the Shari'ah that we have come to know) through Barira. The people gave her sadaqah and she offered us as gift. We made a mention of it to the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) , whereupon he said: It is a sadaqah for her and a gift for you; so eat it.
Hadith 1082
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: Do not observe fast for a day, or two days ahead of Ramadan except a person who is in the habit of observing a particular fast; he may fast on that day.

أَبِي عَطِيَّةَ ، قَالَ : دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وَمَسْرُوقٌ عَلَى
عَائِشَةَ ، فَقُلْنَا : " يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَجُلَانِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَحَدُهُمَا يُعَجِّلُ الْإِفْطَارَ وَيُعَجِّلُ الصَّلَاةَ ، وَالْآخَرُ يُؤَخِّرُ الْإِفْطَارَ وَيُؤَخِّرُ الصَّلَاةَ " ، قَالَتْ : " أَيُّهُمَا الَّذِي يُعَجِّلُ الْإِفْطَارَ وَيُعَجِّلُ الصَّلَاةَ ؟ " ، قَالَ : " قُلْنَا : عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ " ، قَالَتْ : " كَذَلِكَ كَانَ يَصْنَعُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " ، زَادَ أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ : " وَالْآخَرُ أَبُو مُوسَى " .
Abu 'Atiyya reported: I and Masruq went to 'A'isha and said to her: Mother of the Believers, there are two persons among the Companions of Muhammad (ﷺ) one among whom hastens in breaking the fast and in observing prayer, and the other delays breaking the fast and delays observing prayer. She said: Who among the two hastens in breaking fast and observing prayers? We said, It is 'Abdullah. i. e. son of Mas'ud. whereupon she said: This is how the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did. Abu Kuraib added: The second one was Abu Musa.
Hadith 1099

عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، فَقَالَ لَهَا مَسْرُوقٌ : رَجُلَانِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، كِلَاهُمَا لَا يَأْلُو عَنِ الْخَيْرِ أَحَدُهُمَا يُعَجِّلُ الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْإِفْطَارَ ، وَالْآخَرُ يُؤَخِّرُ الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْإِفْطَارَ " ، فَقَالَتْ : " مَنْ يُعَجِّلُ الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْإِفْطَارَ ؟ " قَالَ : " عَبْدُ اللَّهِ " ، فَقَالَتْ : " هَكَذَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصْنَعُ " .
Abu 'Atiyya reported: I and Misruq went to 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) and Masruq said to her: There are two persons among the Companions of Muhammad (ﷺ) none of whom abandons the good, but one of them hastens to observe sunset prayer and break the fast, and the other delays in observing the sunset prayer and in breaking the fast, whereupon she said: Who hastens to observe sunset prayer and break the fast? Hadith 1100
'Umar (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: When the night approaches and the day retreates and the sun sinks down, then the observer of the fast should break it. Ibn Numair made no mention of the word "then".
Hadith 1107
Hafsa (Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) kissed (his wives) while fasting.
Hadith 1113
Ibn Abbas (RA) reported: Do not condemn one who observes fast, or one who does not observe (in a journey), for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed fast in a journey or he did not observe it (too).
Hadith 1119
وحَدَّثَنَا

مُوَرِّقٍ ، عَنْ
أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ ، فَصَامَ بَعْضٌ وَأَفْطَرَ بَعْضٌ ، فَتَحَزَّمَ الْمُفْطِرُونَ وَعَمِلُوا ، وَضَعُفَ الصُّوَّامُ عَنْ بَعْضِ الْعَمَلِ ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ فِي ذَلِكَ : " ذَهَبَ الْمُفْطِرُونَ الْيَوْمَ بِالْأَجْرِ " .
Anas (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was journeying (along with his Companions). Some of them had observed the fast whereas the others had broken it. Those who did not fast girded up their loins and worked, but the observers of the fast were too weak to work. Upon this he (the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) ) said: Today the breakers of the fast have gone with the reward.
Hadith 1121
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Hisham with the same chain of transmitters that Hamza said: I am a person much used to fasting. Should I fast during the journey? (The rest of the hadith is the same.)
Hadith 1125
وحَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ،
وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا
ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ
هِشَامٍ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِي أَوَّلِ الْحَدِيثِ ، وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصُومُهُ ، وَقَالَ فِي آخِرِ الْحَدِيثِ : وَتَرَكَ عَاشُورَاءَ فَمَنْ شَاءَ صَامَهُ وَمَنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَهُ ، وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْهُ مِنْ قَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، كَرِوَايَةِ جَرِيرٍ .
This hadith is narrated on the authority of Hisham with the same chain of transmitters, but he made no mention in the first part of the hadith that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to observe fast, and said about the second part that he abandoned the (fast) of Ashura, and he who wished observed the fast and who wished otherwise abandoned it, and he did not hold it as the words of the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) as mentioned in the narration transmitted by Jarir.
Hadith 1126
حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا

الْوَلِيدِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ كَثِيرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي
نَافِعٌ ، أَنَّ
عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ فِي يَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ : " إِنَّ هَذَا يَوْمٌ كَانَ يَصُومُهُ أَهْلُ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ، فَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَصُومَهُ فَلْيَصُمْهُ ، وَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَتْرُكَهُ فَلْيَتْرُكْهُ " ، وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ لَا يَصُومُهُ إِلَّا أَنْ يُوَافِقَ صِيَامَهُ ،
Abdullah bin 'Umar (Allah be pleased with both of them) reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say about the day of Ashura: It is a day on which the people of pre-Islamic days observed fast. So he who liked to fast on this day should do so, and he who liked to abandon it should abandon it. 'Abdullah (RA) did not observe fast except when it coincided (with the days when he was in the habit of observing voluntary fasts during every month).
Hadith 1127

عُمَارَةَ ، عَنْ
عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، قَالَ : دَخَلَ الْأَشْعَثُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَلَى
عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ يَتَغَدَّى ، فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ ادْنُ إِلَى الْغَدَاءِ ، فَقَالَ : أَوَلَيْسَ الْيَوْمُ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ ؟ ، قَالَ : وَهَلْ تَدْرِي مَا يَوْمُ عَاشُورَاءَ ؟ ، قَالَ : وَمَا هُوَ ؟ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّمَا هُوَ يَوْمٌ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصُومُهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَنْزِلَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ ، فَلَمَّا نَزَلَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ تُرِكَ " ، وقَالَ أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ : " تَرَكَهُ " ،
Abdul Rahman bin Yazid said: When al-Ash'ath bin Qais entered the house of 'Abdullah he was having his breakfast. He ('Abdullah bin 'Umar (RA) said: Abu Muhammad (al-Asha'th), came near to the breakfast. Thereupon he said: Is not today the Day of 'Ashura? He ('Abdul Rahman) said: Do you know what the Day of 'Ashura is? He said: What is it? He said: It is a day on which the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used To observe fast before the (fasting) in the month of Ramadan became obligatory. But when it became obligatory the (fasting of 'Ashura) was abandoned (as compulsory). Abu Kuraib said: He (the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) abandoned it.
Hadith 1134
Abdullah b 'Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had said: If I live till the next (year), I would definitely observe fast on the 9th, and the narration transmitted by Abu Bakr (RA) is: "He meant the day of Ashura."
Hadith 1144
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying: Do not single out the night (preceding) Friday among the nights for prayer and do not single out Friday among days for fasting but only when anyone among you is accustomed to fast (on dates) which coincide with this day (Friday).
Hadith 1159
This hadith is narrated on the authority of Habib bin Abu Thabit with the same chain of transmitters and he said: "And you would become exhausted."
Hadith 1172
This hadith has been narrated by 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) through another chain of transmitters.
Hadith 1176
'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: I never saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) fasting in the ten days of Dhu'I-Hijja.
Hadith 1178
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of 'Amr bin Dinar with the same chain of transmitters, but none of them (the narrators) made a mention that he (the Holy Prophet) was delivering address at 'Arafia except Sbu'ba.
Hadith 1189
'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: I applied the best perfume, which I could get, to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) before entering upon the state of Ihram (and after this) he put on the Ihram.
Hadith 1190
'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: I still seem to see the glistening of the perfume where the hair parted on Allah's Messenger's (ﷺ) head and he was free from Ihram.
Hadith 1192

إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ ، عَنْ
أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، يَقُولُ : لَأَنْ أُصْبِحَ مُطَّلِيًا بِقَطِرَانٍ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُصْبِحَ مُحْرِمًا أَنْضَخُ طِيبًا ، قَالَ : فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى
عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، فَأَخْبَرْتُهَا بِقَوْلِهِ ، فَقَالَتْ : " طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَطَافَ فِي نِسَائِهِ ، ثُمَّ أَصْبَحَ مُحْرِمًا " .
Muhammad bin al-Muntashir reported on the authority of his father: I heard from Ibn 'Omar having said this: "It is dearer to me to rub tar (on my body) than to enter upon the state of Ihram (in a state) of shaking off the perfume." He (the narrator) said: I went to 'A'isha and told her about this statement of his (of Ibn 'Umar). Thereupon she said: I applied perfume to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he then went round his wives and then entered upon the state of Ihram in the morning.
Hadith 1194
Ibn 'Abbas (RA) reported that al-Sa'b bin Jaththama presented to the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) a wild ass as he was in a state of Ihram, and he returned it to him saying: If we were not in a state of Ihram, we would have accepted it from you.
Hadith 1198
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Hisham with the same chain of transmitters.
Hadith 1206
وحَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا

سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ
عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ
سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ
ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَوْقَصَتْهُ رَاحِلَتُهُ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَمَاتَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ ، وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ ، وَلَا تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ وَلَا وَجْهَهُ ، فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا " .
Ibn 'Abbas (RA) reported that when a person who was in the state of Ihram was in the company of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) , fell down from his camel and broke his neck and he died. Upon this the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Bathe him with water (mixed with the leaves) of the lote tree and shroud him in his two (pieces of) cloth and, neither perfume him nor cover his head, for he would be raised on the Day of Resurrection pronouncing Talbiya.
Hadith 1207

عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى ضُبَاعَةَ بِنْتِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، فَقَالَ لَهَا : " أَرَدْتِ الْحَجَّ ؟ " ، قَالَتْ : وَاللَّهِ مَا أَجِدُنِي إِلَّا وَجِعَةً ، فَقَالَ لَهَا : " حُجِّي وَاشْتَرِطِي ، وَقُولِي : اللَّهُمَّ مَحِلِّي حَيْثُ حَبَسْتَنِي " ، وَكَانَتْ تَحْتَ الْمِقْدَادِ .
A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went (into the house of) Duba'a bint Zubair and said to her: Did you intend to perform Hajj? She said: By Allah, (I intend to do so) but I often remain ill, whereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said to her: Perform Hajj but with condition, and say: O Allah, I shall be free from Ihram where you detain me. And she (Duba'a) was the wife of Miqdad.
Hadith 1211

عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : خَرَجْنَا مُوَافِينَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِهِلَالِ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ ، لَا نَرَى إِلَّا الْحَجَّ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَحَبَّ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يُهِلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ فَلْيُهِلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ " ، وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ عَبْدَةَ ،
'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) said: We set out with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) just at the appearance of the new moon of Dhu'l- Hijja. We had no other intention but that of performing the Hajj, whereupon the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: He who among you intends to put on Ihram for 'Umrah should do so for 'Umrah. The rest of the hadith is the same.
Hadith 1211

عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُوَافِينَ لِهِلَالِ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ ، مِنَّا مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ وَمِنَّا مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِحَجَّةٍ وَعُمْرَةٍ ، وَمِنَّا مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِحَجَّةٍ ، فَكُنْتُ فِيمَنْ أَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ ، وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِهِمَا ، وقَالَ فِيهِ : قَالَ عُرْوَةُ فِي ذَلِكَ : إِنَّهُ قَضَى اللَّهُ حَجَّهَا وَعُمْرَتَهَا ، قَالَ هِشَامٌ : وَلَمْ يَكُنْ فِي ذَلِكَ هَدْيٌ وَلَا صِيَامٌ وَلَا صَدَقَةٌ .
A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: We went with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) at the appearance of the new moon of Dhu'I-Hijja. There were amongst us those who had put on Ihram for 'Umrah, and those also who had put on Ihram both for Hajj and 'Umrah, and still those who had put on Ihram for Hajj (alone). I was one of those who had put on Ihram for 'Umrah (only). 'Urwa (one of the narrators) said: Allah enabled her (Hadrat A'isha) to complete both Hajj and 'Umrah (according to the way as mentioned above). Hisham (one of the narrators) said: She had neither the sacrificial animal nor (was she required to) fast, nor was she obliged to give alms.
Hadith 1219

أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : " كَانَتِ الْعَرَبُ تَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ عُرَاةً إِلَّا الْحُمْسَ وَالْحُمْسُ قُرَيْشٌ ، وَمَا وَلَدَتْ كَانُوا يَطُوفُونَ عُرَاةً إِلَّا أَنْ تُعْطِيَهُمُ الْحُمْسُ ثِيَابًا ، فَيُعْطِي الرِّجَالُ الرِّجَالَ وَالنِّسَاءُ النِّسَاءَ ، وَكَانَتِ الْحُمْسُ لَا يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ ، وَكَانَ النَّاسُ كُلُّهُمْ يَبْلُغُونَ عَرَفَاتٍ " ، قَالَ هِشَامٌ : فَحَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : " الْحُمْسُ هُمُ الَّذِينَ أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِيهِمْ : ثُمَّ أَفِيضُوا مِنْ حَيْثُ أَفَاضَ النَّاسُ سورة البقرة آية 199 ، قَالَتْ : كَانَ النَّاسُ يُفِيضُونَ مِنْ عَرَفَاتٍ وَكَانَ الْحُمْسُ يُفِيضُونَ مِنَ الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ يَقُولُونَ : لَا نُفِيضُ إِلَّا مِنَ الْحَرَمِ ، فَلَمَّا نَزَلَتْ أَفِيضُوا مِنْ حَيْثُ أَفَاضَ النَّاسُ سورة البقرة آية 199 رَجَعُوا إِلَى عَرَفَاتٍ " .
Hisham narrated on the authority of his father that the Arabs with the exception of Hums who were Quraish, and their descendants, circumambulated the House naked. They kept circumambulating in this state of nudity unless the Hums supplied to them the clothes. The male provided (clothes) to the male and the female provided clothes to the female. And the Hums did not get out of Muzdalifa, whereas the people (other than the Quraish) went to 'Arafat. Hisham said on the authority of his father who related from 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) who said: Hums are those about whom Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, revealed this verse: "Then hasten to where the people hasten." She (further) said: The people hastened on from 'Arafat, whereas Hums hastened from Muzdalifa, and said: We do not hasten but from Haram. But when this (verse) was revealed: "Hasten on from that (place) where the people hasten on," they (the Quraish) then went to 'Arafat.
Hadith 1224
Abu Dharr (RA) said that Tamattu' in Hajj was a special (concession) for the Companions of Muhammad (ﷺ) .
Hadith 1258
وحَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ
هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ
أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " دَخَلَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ مِنْ كَدَاءٍ مِنْ أَعْلَى مَكَّةَ " ، قَالَ هِشَامٌ : فَكَانَ أَبِي يَدْخُلُ مِنْهُمَا كِلَيْهِمَا ، وَكَانَ أَبِي أَكْثَرَ مَا يَدْخُلُ مِنْ كَدَاءٍ .
A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) entered Makkah during the year of Victory from Kada i.e from the upper side. Hisham said: My father entered it from both the sides, but generally he entered from Kada.
Hadith 1280
Usama bin Zaid (RA) narrated: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was on his way back from 'Arafat and as he reached the creek (of a hillock) he got down and urinated (Usama did not say that he poured water), but said: He (the Holy Prophet) called for water and performed ablution, but it was not a thorough one. I said: Messenger of Allah, the prayer! Thereupon he said: Prayer awaits you ahead (at Muzdalifa). He then proceeded, until he reached Muzdalifa and observed sunset and 'Isha' prayers (together) there.
Hadith 1289
A'bdullah (b. 'Umar) reported: I have never seen Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) but observing the prayers at their appointed times except two players, sunset and 'Isha, ' at Muzdalifa (where he deferred the sunset prayer to combine it with 'Isha' and he observed the dawn prayer before its stipulated time on that day (10th of Dhu'l-Hijja).
Hadith 1296
'Abdul Rahman bin Yazid reported that 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud (RA) threw seven pebbles at Jamrat al-'Aqabahh from the heart of the valley. He pronounced Takbir with every pebble. It was said to him that people fling stones from the upper side (of the valley), whereupon 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud (Allah he pleased with them) said: By him, besides Whom there is no other God, that is the place (of flinging stones) of one upon whom Surah al-Baqarah was revealed (the Holy Prophet).
Hadith 1302
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as having said: O Allah, grant pardon to those who got their heads shaved. They (Companions of the Holy Prophet) said: Messenger of Allah, (what about those) who get their hair cut? He said: O Allah, grant pardon to those who get their heads shaved. They said: Messenger of Allah, (what about those) who got their hair clipped? He said: O Allah, grant pardon to those who get their heads shaved. They said: Messenger of Allah, (what about those) who get their hair clipped? He said: O Allah, grant pardon to those who get their heads shaved. They said: (What about those) who get their hair clipped? He said: (O Allah, grant pardon to) those who get their hair clipped.
Hadith 1305
وحَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ،
وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ،
وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ، قَالُوا : أَخْبَرَنَا
حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ ، عَنْ
هِشَامٍ ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ ، أَمَّا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، فَقَالَ فِي رِوَايَتِهِ لِلْحَلَّاقِ : " هَا وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى الْجَانِبِ الْأَيْمَنِ هَكَذَا فَقَسَمَ شَعَرَهُ بَيْنَ مَنْ يَلِيهِ " ، قَالَ : " ثُمَّ أَشَارَ إِلَى الْحَلَّاقِ وَإِلَى الْجَانِبِ الْأَيْسَرِ فَحَلَقَهُ ، فَأَعْطَاهُ أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ " ، وَأَمَّا فِي رِوَايَةِ أَبِي كُرَيْبٍ ، قَالَ : " فَبَدَأَ بِالشِّقِّ الْأَيْمَنِ فَوَزَّعَهُ الشَّعَرَةَ وَالشَّعَرَتَيْنِ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ " ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " بِالْأَيْسَرِ فَصَنَعَ بِهِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ " ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " هَا هُنَا أَبُو طَلْحَةَ " ، فَدَفَعَهُ إِلَى أَبِي طَلْحَةَ .
Abu Bakr (RA) reported: (He called for) the barber and, pointing towards the right side of his head, said: (Start from) here, and then distributed his hair among those who were near him. He then pointed to the barber (to shave) the left side and he shaved it, and he gave (these hair) to Umm Sulaim (Allah be pleased with her). And in the narration of Abu Kuraib (the words are): "He started from the right half (of his head), and he distributed a hair or two among the people, and then (asked the barber) to shave the left side and he did similarly, and he (the Holy Prophet) said: Here is Abu Talha and he gave these (hair) to Abu Talha."
