Hadith 415
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ هُوَ ابْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنْ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ صَلَّى فِي يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً بُنِيَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ ، أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ " قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَحَدِيثُ عَنْبَسَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ فِي هَذَا الْبَابِ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ .
´Umm Habibah narrated that Allah's Messenger (S) sad:` "Whoever prays twelve Rak'ah in a day and night, a house will be built from him in Paradise: Four Rak'ah before Zuhr, two Rak'ah after it, two Rak'ah after Maghrib, two Rak'ah after Isha, and two Rak'ah before Fajr in the morning Salat."
Hadith 672
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُؤَمَّلُ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا أَعْطَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ مِنْ بَيْتِ زَوْجِهَا بِطِيبِ نَفْسٍ غَيْرَ مُفْسِدَةٍ كَانَ لَهَا مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ لَهَا مَا نَوَتْ حَسَنًا وَلِلْخَازِنِ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَهَذَا أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ ، لَا يَذْكُرُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ .
´Aishah narrated that:` the Messenger of Allah said: "When a woman gives from her husband's home, with a good heart, not to spoil it, then she will get a reward similar to his, for her is the good she intended - and the same is for the trustee."
Hadith 1948
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ أَضْرِبُ مَمْلُوكًا لِي ، فَسَمِعْتُ قَائِلًا مِنْ خَلْفِي ، يَقُولُ : اعْلَمْ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ ، اعْلَمْ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ ، فَالْتَفَتُّ : فَإِذَا أَنَا بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " لَلَّهُ أَقْدَرُ عَلَيْكَ مِنْكَ عَلَيْهِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ : فَمَا ضَرَبْتُ مَمْلُوكًا لِي بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ التَّيْمِيُّ : إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ .
´Abu Mas'ud [Al-Ansari] said:` "I was beating a slave of mine and I heard someone behind me saying: 'Beware O Abu Mas'ud! Beware O Abu Mas'ud!' So I turned around and saw that it was the Messenger of Allah. He said: 'Allah has more power over you than you do over him." Abu Mas'ud said: "I have not beaten any slave of mine since then."
Hadith 2146
حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنْ مَطَرِ بْنِ عُكَامِسٍ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ لِعَبْدٍ أَنْ يَمُوتَ بِأَرْضٍ ، جَعَلَ لَهُ إِلَيْهَا حَاجَةً " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي عَزَّةَ ، وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ ، وَلَا يُعْرَفُ لِمَطَرِ بْنِ عُكَامِسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَيْرُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ .
Matar bin Akhamas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When Allah decides the death of a servant in a certain land, He creates a need or necessity for him there." 1. © Imam Tirmidhi says:

Hadith 2146
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ، وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ الْحَفَرِيُّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، نَحْوَهُ .
A similar hadith is also narrated from Matar bin ‘Ukāmis (may Allah be pleased with him) through this chain.
Hadith 3266
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ جَمِيلٍ الْجُمَحِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّ الْأَقْرَعَ بْنَ حَابِسٍ ، قَدِمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، اسْتَعْمِلْهُ عَلَى قَوْمِهِ ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ : لَا تَسْتَعْمِلْهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَتَكَلَّمَا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى ارْتَفَعَتْ أَصْوَاتُهُمَا ، فَقَال أَبُو بَكْرٍ لِعُمَرَ : مَا أَرَدْتَ إِلَّا خِلَافِي ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ : مَا أَرَدْتُ خِلَافَكَ ، قَالَ : فَنَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ : " يَأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَكُمْ فَوْقَ صَوْتِ النَّبِيِّ سورة الحجرات آية 2 قَالَ : فَكَانَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ إِذَا تَكَلَّمَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يُسْمِعْ كَلَامَهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَفْهِمَهُ " ، قَالَ : وَمَا ذَكَرَ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ جَدَّهُ يَعْنِي أَبَا بَكْرٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ بَعْضُهُمْ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ مُرْسَلٌ ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ .
´Narrated 'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair:` "Al-Aqra' bin Habis arrived to meet the Prophet (ﷺ)" - he said - "so Abu Bakr said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Appoint him over his people.' 'Umar said: 'Do not appoint him O Messenger of Allah!' They continued talking before the Prophet (ﷺ) until they raised their voices. Abu Bakr said to 'Umar: 'You only wanted to contradict me.' So ['Umar] said: 'I did not want to contradict you.'" He said: "So this Ayah was revealed: 'O you who believe! Do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet (49:2).'" He said: "After that, when 'Umar spoke before the Prophet (ﷺ), his speech could not be heard until he told him he could not understand him." He (one of the narrators) said: "And Ibn Az-Zubair did not mention his grandfather" meaning Abu Bakr.
Hadith 3465
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُؤَمِّلُ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ قَالَ : سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ غُرِسَتْ لَهُ نَخْلَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ .
´Jabir narrated that :` The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever says: ‘Glory is to Allah, the Magnificent, and with His Praise (Subḥān Allāhil-Aẓīm, wa biḥamdih)’ a date-palm tree is planted for him in Paradise.”
Hadith 3525
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُؤَمِّلُ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أَلِظُّوا بِيَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ ، وَلَيْسَ بِمَحْفُوظٍ ، وَإِنَّمَا يُرْوَى هَذَا عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ الْبَصْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَهَذَا أَصَحُّ وَمُؤَمَّلٌ غَلِطَ فِيهِ ، فَقَالَ : عَنْ حَمَادٍ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَلَا يُتَابَعُ فِيهِ .
´Anas narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “Be constant with: ‘O Possessor of Majesty and Honor (Yā Dhal-Jalāli wal-Ikrām).’”
Hadith 3906
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، وَالْمُؤَمَّلُ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا يَبْغَضُ الْأَنْصَارَ أَحَدٌ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
´Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:` "The Prophet (ﷺ) said to me: 'A man who believes in Allah and the Last Day does not hate the Ansar."
Hadith 3949
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ ، وَزَادَ فِيهِ : " وَعُصَيَّةُ عَصَتِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
‘Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, he said:’ Mu’ammal narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us from Abdullah bin Dinar, similar to the narration of Shu’bah, and in it there is this addition «وعصية عصت الله ورسوله» .
