Hadith 95
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْبَزَّازُ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عِيسَى ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَبْرٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَوَضَّأُ بِإِنَاءٍ يَسَعُ رَطْلَيْنِ وَيَغْتَسِلُ بِالصَّاعِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد : رَوَاهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ ، قَالَ : عَنْ ابْنِ جَبْرِ بْنِ عَتِيكٍ ، قَالَ : وَرَوَاهُ سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنِي جَبْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد : وَرَوَاهُ شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَبْرٍ ، سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : يَتَوَضَّأُ بِمَكُّوكٍ ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ رَطْلَيْنِ ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد : وسَمِعْت أَحْمَدَ بْنَ حَنْبَلٍ , يَقُولُ : الصَّاعُ خَمْسَةُ أَرْطَالٍ وَهُوَ صَاعُ ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، وَهُوَ صَاعُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
Anas reported: The Prophet ﷺ performed ablution with a vessel which contained two rotls (of water) and took a bath with a sa’ (of water). 1 Abu Dawud Said: This tradition has berated on the authority of Anas through a different chain. This version mentions: “He performed ablution with one makkuk. “It makes no mention of two rotls. 2 Abu Dawud said: This tradition has also been narrated by Yahya bin Adam from Sharik. But this chain mentions Ibn Jabr bin ‘Atik instead of ‘ Abdullah bin Jabr. Abu Dawud Said: This tradition has also been narrated by Sufyan from Abdullah bin ‘Isa. This chain mentions the name Jabr bin Abdullah instead of Abdullah bin Jabr. Abu Dawud Said: I heard Ahmad bin Hanbal say: one sa’ measures five rotls. It was the sa’ of Ibn Abi Dhi’b and also of the Prophet ﷺ.
Hadith 384
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عِيسَى ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ،عَنْ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ ، قَالَتْ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّ لَنَا طَرِيقًا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ مُنْتِنَةً ، فَكَيْفَ نَفْعَلُ إِذَا مُطِرْنَا ؟ قَالَ : " أَلَيْسَ بَعْدَهَا طَرِيقٌ هِيَ أَطْيَبُ مِنْهَا ؟ . قَالَتْ : قُلْتُ : بَلَى ، قَالَ : فَهَذِهِ بِهَذِهِ " .
Narrated A woman of the Banu AbdulAshhal: She reported: I said Messenger of Allah, our road to the mosque has an unpleasant stench; what should we do when it is raining? He asked: Is there not a cleaner part after the filthy part of the road? She replied: Why not (there is one)! He said: It makes up for the other.
Hadith 2175
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ رُزَيْقٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عِيسَى ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْمَرَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ خَبَّبَ امْرَأَةً عَلَى زَوْجِهَا أَوْ عَبْدًا عَلَى سَيِّدِهِ " .
Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet ﷺ said: Anyone who incites a woman against her husband or a slave against his master is not one of us.
Hadith 5170
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُباب ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ رُزَيْقٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عِيسَى ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْمَرَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ خَبَّبَ زَوْجَةَ امْرِئٍ أَوْ مَمْلُوكَهُ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا " .
Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet ﷺ said: If anyone corrupts (instigates) the wife of a man or his slave (against him), he is not from us.
