Hadith 2677
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: There are ninety-nine names of Allah; he who commits them to memory would get into Paradise. Verily, Allah is Odd (He is one, and it is an odd number) and He loves odd number. And in the narration of Ibn 'Umar (the words are): "He who enumerated them."

Abu Hurairah (RA) reported that Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) used to seek refuge (in Allah) from the evil of destiny and from falling into the hand of calamity and from the mockery of (triumphant) enemies and from the hardship of misery. Abu Sufyan (RA) reported: I am in doubt that I have made an addition of one word in this supplication.

جُوَيْرِيَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ مِنْ عِنْدِهَا بُكْرَةً حِينَ صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ وَهِيَ فِي مَسْجِدِهَا ، ثُمَّ رَجَعَ بَعْدَ أَنْ أَضْحَى وَهِيَ جَالِسَةٌ ، فَقَالَ : " مَا زِلْتِ عَلَى الْحَالِ الَّتِي فَارَقْتُكِ عَلَيْهَا ؟ " قَالَتْ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَقَدْ قُلْتُ بَعْدَكِ أَرْبَعَ كَلِمَاتٍ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ، لَوْ وُزِنَتْ بِمَا قُلْتِ مُنْذُ الْيَوْمِ لَوَزَنَتْهُنَّ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ " ،
Juwairiya reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came out from (her apartment) in the morning as she was busy in observing her dawn prayer in her place of worship. He came back in the forenoon and she was still sitting there. He (the Holy Prophet) said to her: You have been in the same seat since I left you. She said: Yes. Thereupon Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) said: I recited four words three times after I left you and if these are to be weighed against what you have recited since morning these would outweigh them and (these words) are: "Hallowed be Allah and praise is due to Him according to the number of His creation and according to the pleasure of His Self and according to the weight of His Throne and according to the ink (used in recording) words (for His Praise)."
Hadith 2727
And it was narrated to me by Zuhayr ibn Harb, who said: Sufyan ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from ‘Ubaydullah ibn Abi Yazid, from Mujahid, from Ibn Abi Layla, from ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib.
And it was also narrated to us by Muhammad ibn ‘Abdullah ibn Numayr and ‘Ubayd ibn Ya‘ish, from ‘Abdullah ibn Numayr, who said: ‘Abd al-Malik narrated to us, from ‘Ata’ ibn Abi Rabah, from Mujahid, from Ibn Abi Layla, from ‘Ali, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, with a narration similar to that of al-Hakam, from Ibn Abi Layla, and he added in the narration: ‘Ali said: “I have not abandoned it since I heard it from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.” It was said to him: “Not even on the night of Siffin?” He said: “Not even on the night of Siffin.” And in the narration of ‘Ata’, from Mujahid, from Ibn Abi Layla, he said: I said to him: “Not even on the night of Siffin?”
Hadith 2740
Usama bin Zaid reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: I have not left after me any (chance) of turmoil more injurious to men than the harm done to the men because of women.

Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said: My mercy excels My wrath.

Jabir reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) came to the grave of 'Abdullah bin Ubayy, brought him out from that, placed him on his knee and put his saliva in his mouth and shrouded him in his own shirt and Allah knows best.

ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : " اجْتَمَعَ عِنْدَ الْبَيْتِ ثَلَاثَةُ نَفَرٍ قُرَشِيَّانِ وَثَقَفِيٌّ أَوْ ثَقَفِيَّانِ وَقُرَشِيٌّ قَلِيلٌ ، فِقْهُ قُلُوبِهِمْ كَثِيرٌ شَحْمُ بُطُونِهِمْ ، فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمْ : أَتُرَوْنَ اللَّهَ يَسْمَعُ مَا نَقُولُ ؟ ، وَقَالَ الْآخَرُ : يَسْمَعُ إِنْ جَهَرْنَا وَلَا يَسْمَعُ إِنْ أَخْفَيْنَا ، وَقَالَ الْآخَرُ : إِنْ كَانَ يَسْمَعُ إِذَا جَهَرْنَا فَهُوَ يَسْمَعُ إِذَا أَخْفَيْنَا ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَمَا كُنْتُمْ تَسْتَتِرُونَ أَنْ يَشْهَدَ عَلَيْكُمْ سَمْعُكُمْ وَلا أَبْصَارُكُمْ وَلا جُلُودُكُمْ سورة فصلت آية 22 " الْآيَةَ ،
Ibn Mas'ud reported that there gathered near the House three persons amongst whom two were Quraishi and one was a Thaqafi or two were Thaqafis and one was a Quraishi. They lacked understanding but wore more flesh. One of them said: Do you think that Allah hears as we speak? The other one said: He does hear when we speak loudly and He does not hear when we speak in undertones, and still the other one said: If He listens when we speak loudly, He also listens when we speak in undertones. It was on this occasion that this verse was revealed: "You did not conceal yourselves lest your ears, your eyes and your skins would stand witness against you" (xli. 22).

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Khabbib through another chain of transmitters and the words are. I, in the pre-Islamic days used to work as an iron-smith. I did some work for 'As bin Wa'il and came to him for getting the remuneration of my wages.
Hadith 2800
Abu Ma'mar reported on the authority of 'Abdullah that the moon was split up during lifetime by Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) in two parts and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: Bear testimony to this.
Hadith 2811
Mujahid said: (I have had the privilege) of accompanying Ibn 'Umar up to Madinah but I did not hear him narrate anything from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) except one hadith. And he said: We were in the presence of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) that there was brought to him the kernel of a date. The rest of the hadith is the same.
Hadith 2819
This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Mughira bin Shu'bah and the words are: Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) kept standing in prayer (for such long hours) that his feet were swollen. They (his Companions) said: Verily, Allah has pardoned for thee the earlier and the later of thine sins. Thereupon he said: Should I not prove myself to be a grateful servant (of Allah)?

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : أَعْدَدْتُ لِعِبَادِيَ الصَّالِحِينَ مَا لَا عَيْنٌ رَأَتْ وَلَا أُذُنٌ سَمِعَتْ وَلَا خَطَرَ عَلَى قَلْبِ بَشَرٍ مِصْدَاقُ ذَلِكَ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ فَلا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَا أُخْفِيَ لَهُمْ مِنْ قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ سورة السجدة آية 17 " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying that: Allah the Exalted and Glorious, said: I have prepared for My pious servants which no eye has ever seen, and no ear has ever heard, and no human heart has ever perceived but it is testified by the Book of Allah. He then recited:" No soul knows what comfort has been concealed from them, as a reward for what they did". (xxxii. 17)

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " احْتَجَّتِ النَّارُ وَالْجَنَّةُ ، فَقَالَتْ : هَذِهِ يَدْخُلُنِي الْجَبَّارُونَ وَالْمُتَكَبِّرُونَ ، وَقَالَتْ : هَذِهِ يَدْخُلُنِي الضُّعَفَاءُ وَالْمَسَاكِينُ ، فَقَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : لِهَذِهِ أَنْتِ عَذَابِي أُعَذِّبُ بِكِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ ، وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ : أُصِيبُ بِكِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ ، وَقَالَ لِهَذِهِ : أَنْتِ رَحْمَتِي أَرْحَمُ بِكِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ ، وَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْكُمَا مِلْؤُهَا " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as say- ing: There was a dispute between the Hell and the Paradise and it (the Hell) said: The haughty and the proud would find abode in me. And the Paradise said: The meek and the humble would find their abode in me. Thereupon Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, (addressing the Hell) said: You are (the means) of My punishment by which I punish those of My servants whom I wish. (And addressing the Paradise) He said: You are only My Mercy by means of which 1 shall show mercy to those whom I wish, but each one of you would be full.
Hadith 2860
Ibn Abbas (RA) reported that he heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) deliver an address and he was saying that they would meet Allah barefooted, naked and uncircumcised.
Hadith 2880
Zainab bint Jahsh reported that Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) got up from sleep saying: There is no god but Allah; there is a destruction in store for Arabia because of turmoil which is at hand, the barrier of Gog and Magog has opened so much. And Sufyan made a sign of ten with the help of his hand (in order to indicate the width of the gap) and I said: Allah's Messenger, would we be perished in spite of the fact that there would be good people amongst us? Thereupon he said: Of course, but only when the evil predominates.

سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ
أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ ، سَمِعَ جَدَّهُ
عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ صَفْوَانَ ، يَقُولُ : أَخْبَرَتْنِي
حَفْصَةُ ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " لَيَؤُمَّنَّ هَذَا الْبَيْتَ جَيْشٌ يَغْزُونَهُ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانُوا بِبَيْدَاءَ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ يُخْسَفُ بِأَوْسَطِهِمْ ، وَيُنَادِي أَوَّلُهُمْ آخِرَهُمْ ثُمَّ يُخْسَفُ بِهِمْ ، فَلَا يَبْقَى إِلَّا الشَّرِيدُ الَّذِي يُخْبِرُ عَنْهُمْ " ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ : أَشْهَدُ عَلَيْكَ أَنَّكَ لَمْ تَكْذِبْ عَلَى حَفْصَةَ ، وَأَشْهَدُ عَلَى حَفْصَةَ أَنَّهَا لَمْ تَكْذِبْ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
'Abdullah bin Safwan reported that Hafsa told him that she had heard Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying: An army would attack this House in order to fight against the inhabitants of this House and when it would be at the plain ground the ranks in the centre of the army would be sunk and the vanguard would call the rear flanks of the army and they would also be sunk and no flank would be left except some people who would go to inform them (their kith and kin). A person (who had been listening to this hadith from 'Abdullah bin Safwan) said: I bear testimony in regard to you that you are not imputing a lie to Hafsa. And I bear testimony to the fact that Hafsa is not telling a lie about Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) .
Hadith 2885
Usama reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) climbed up a battlement amongst the battlements of Madinah and then said: You do not see what I am seeing and I am seeing the places of turmoil between your houses as tile places of rainfall.

Hudhaifa reported that Umar said: Who would narrate to us (the ahadith pertaining to turmoil) and he reported a hadith similar to these ahadith.
Hadith 2901
Hudhaifa bin Usaid Ghifari reported: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came to us all of a sudden as we were (busy in a discussion). He said: What do you discuss about? They (the Companions) said. We are discussing about the Last Hour. Thereupon he said: It will not come until you see ten signs before and (in this connection) he made a mention of the smoke, Dajjal, the beast, the rising of the sun from the west, the descent of Jesus, son of Mary (RA) , the Gog and Magog, and land-slidings in three places, one in the east, one in the west and one in Arabia at the end of which fire would burn forth from the Yemen, and would drive people to the place of their assembly.

Abu Hurairah (RA) reported that Allh's Messenger (ﷺ) said: (Khusrau king of Persia) would die and Qaisar (Ceasar King of Rome) would die; there would be no Qaisar after him, but, by one in Whose Hand is my life, you would spend their treasures in the cause of Allah.

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ وَالرَّجُلُ يَحْلُبُ اللِّقْحَةَ ، فَمَا يَصِلُ الْإِنَاءُ إِلَى فِيهِ حَتَّى تَقُومَ وَالرَّجُلَانِ يَتَبَايَعَانِ الثَّوْبَ ، فَمَا يَتَبَايَعَانِهِ حَتَّى تَقُومَ وَالرَّجُلُ يَلِطُ فِي حَوْضِهِ ، فَمَا يَصْدُرُ حَتَّى تَقُومَ " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: The Last Hour would come (so sudden) that a person would be milking the she-camel and the (milk) would not reach the brim of the vessel that the Last Hour would come, and the two persons would be engaged in buying and selling of the clothes and their bargain would not be struck before the Last Hour would come. And someone would be setting his tank in order and he would have hardly set it right when the Last Hour would come.
Hadith 2960
Anas bin Malik (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: Three things follow the bier of a dead man, two of them come back and one is left with him: the members of his family, wealth and his-good deeds. The members of his family and wealth come back and the deeds alone are left with him.

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، هَلْ نَرَى رَبَّنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ؟ ، قَالَ : " هَلْ تُضَارُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَةِ الشَّمْسِ فِي الظَّهِيرَةِ لَيْسَتْ فِي سَحَابَةٍ ؟ ، قَالُوا : لَا ، قَالَ : " فَهَلْ تُضَارُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَةِ الْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ لَيْسَ فِي سَحَابَةٍ ؟ " ، قَالُوا : لَا ، قَالَ : " فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَا تُضَارُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَةِ رَبِّكُمْ ، إِلَّا كَمَا تُضَارُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَةِ أَحَدِهِمَا " ، قَالَ : " فَيَلْقَى الْعَبْدَ ، فَيَقُولُ : أَيْ فُلْ ، أَلَمْ أُكْرِمْكَ ، وَأُسَوِّدْكَ ، وَأُزَوِّجْكَ ، وَأُسَخِّرْ لَكَ الْخَيْلَ وَالْإِبِلَ ، وَأَذَرْكَ تَرْأَسُ وَتَرْبَعُ ؟ ، فَيَقُولُ : بَلَى ، قَالَ : فَيَقُولُ : أَفَظَنَنْتَ أَنَّكَ مُلَاقِيَّ ؟ ، فَيَقُولُ : لَا ، فَيَقُولُ : فَإِنِّي أَنْسَاكَ كَمَا نَسِيتَنِي ثُمَّ يَلْقَى الثَّانِيَ ، فَيَقُولُ أَيْ فُلْ : أَلَمْ أُكْرِمْكَ ، وَأُسَوِّدْكَ ، وَأُزَوِّجْكَ وَأُسَخِّرْ لَكَ الْخَيْلَ وَالْإِبِلَ ، وَأَذَرْكَ تَرْأَسُ وَتَرْبَعُ ؟ ، فَيَقُولُ : بَلَى أَيْ رَبِّ ، فَيَقُولُ : أَفَظَنَنْتَ أَنَّكَ مُلَاقِيَّ ؟ ، فَيَقُولُ : لَا ، فَيَقُولُ : فَإِنِّي أَنْسَاكَ كَمَا نَسِيتَنِي ، ثُمَّ يَلْقَى الثَّالِثَ ، فَيَقُولُ لَهُ : مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ، فَيَقُولُ : يَا رَبِّ آمَنْتُ بِكَ وَبِكِتَابِكَ وَبِرُسُلِكَ ، وَصَلَّيْتُ وَصُمْتُ وَتَصَدَّقْتُ ، وَيُثْنِي بِخَيْرٍ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ ، فَيَقُولُ : هَاهُنَا إِذًا قَالَ ، ثُمَّ يُقَالُ لَهُ : الْآنَ نَبْعَثُ شَاهِدَنَا عَلَيْكَ ، وَيَتَفَكَّرُ فِي نَفْسِهِ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْهَدُ عَلَيَّ ، فَيُخْتَمُ عَلَى فِيهِ ، وَيُقَالُ لِفَخِذِهِ وَلَحْمِهِ وَعِظَامِهِ انْطِقِي ، فَتَنْطِقُ فَخِذُهُ وَلَحْمُهُ وَعِظَامُهُ بِعَمَلِهِ ، وَذَلِكَ لِيُعْذِرَ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ ، وَذَلِكَ الْمُنَافِقُ ، وَذَلِكَ الَّذِي يَسْخَطُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported that they (the Companions of the Holy Prophet) said: Allah's Messenger, will we be able to see our Lord on the Day of Judgment? He said: Do you feel any difficulty in seeing the sun in the noon when there is no cloud over it? They said: No. He again said: Do you feel any difficulty in seeing the moon on the fourteenth night when there is no cloud over it? They said: No. Thereupon he said: By Allah Who is One in Whose Hand is my life, you will not face any difficulty in seeing your Lord but only so much as you feel in seeing one of them. Then Allah would sit in judgment upon the servant and would say: O, so and so, did I not honour you and make you the chief and provide you the spouse and subdue for you horses, camels, and offered you an opportunity to rule over your subjects? He would say: Yes. And then it would be said: Did you not think that you would meet Us? And he would say: No. Thereupon He (Allah) would say: Well, We forget you as you forgot Us. Then the second person would be brought for judgment and Allah would say: 0, so and so. Did We not honour you and make you the chief and make you pair and subdue for you horses and camels and offered you an opportunity to rule over your subjects? He would say: Yes, my Lord. And He (the Lord) would say: Did you not think that you would be meeting Us? And he would say: No. And then He (Allah) would say: Well, I forget you today as you forgot Us. Then the third one would be brought and He (Allah) would say to him as He said before. And he (the third person) would say: O, my Lord, I affirmed my faith in Thee and in Thy Book and in Thy Messenger and I observed prayer and fasts and gave charity, and he would speak in good terms like this as he would be able to do. And He (Allah) would say: Well, We will bring our witnesses to you. أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُ ، وَيَقُولُ " اسْمَعِي يَا رَبَّةَ الْحُجْرَةِ ، اسْمَعِي يَا رَبَّةَ الْحُجْرَةِ ، وَعَائِشَةُ تُصَلِّي ، فَلَمَّا قَضَتْ صَلَاتَهَا ، قَالَتْ لِعُرْوَةَ : أَلَا تَسْمَعُ إِلَى هَذَا ؟ ، وَمَقَالَتِهِ آنِفًا ، إِنَّمَا كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُحَدِّثُ حَدِيثًا لَوْ عَدَّهُ الْعَادُّ لَأَحْصَاهُ " .
