Hadith 1530
حَدَّثَنَا
قُتَيْبَةُ , عَنْ
مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ , عَنْ
سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ , عَنْ
أَبِيهِ , عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ , فَرَأَى غَيْرَهَا خَيْرًا مِنْهَا , فَلْيُكَفِّرْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَلْيَفْعَلْ " , قَالَ : وَفِي الْبَاب , عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ , قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ , وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَكْثَرِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَغَيْرِهِمْ , أَنَّ الْكَفَّارَةَ قَبْلَ الْحِنْثِ تُجْزِئُ , وَهُوَ قَوْلُ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ , وَالشَّافِعِيِّ , وَأَحْمَدَ , وَإِسْحَاق , وقَالَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ : لَا يُكَفِّرُ إِلَّا بَعْدَ الْحِنْثِ , قَالَ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ : إِنْ كَفَّرَ بَعْدَ الْحِنْثِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ , وَإِنْ كَفَّرَ قَبْلَ الْحِنْثِ أَجْزَأَهُ .
´Narrated Abu Hurairah:` That the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever takes an oath, and then he sees that something else is better than it, then he should make atonement for his oath and then do it."
Hadith 1595
حَدَّثَنَا

وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ
الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ
أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " ثَلَاثَةٌ لَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا يُزَكِّيهِمْ ، وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ : رَجُلٌ بَايَعَ إِمَامًا ، فَإِنْ أَعْطَاهُ وَفَى لَهُ ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يُعْطِهِ لَمْ يَفِ لَهُ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَعَلَى ذَلِكَ الْأَمْرُ بِلَا اخْتِلَافٍ .
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There are three people with whom Allah will not speak on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them of their sins, and for them is a painful punishment: One is the person who pledged allegiance to an Imam, and if the Imam gave him (according to his desire), he fulfilled the pledge, but if he did not give him, he did not fulfill the pledge." __QUR_N__ Imam Tirmidhi says:
This hadith is Hasan Sahih and the ruling is unanimously in accordance with it.
Hadith 1602

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا تَبْدَءُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى بِالسَّلَامِ ، وَإِذَا لَقِيتُمْ أَحَدَهُمْ فِي الطَّرِيقِ ، فَاضْطَرُّوهُمْ إِلَى أَضْيَقِهِ " ، قَالَ : وَفِي الْبَاب ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، وَأَنَسٍ ، وَأَبِي بَصْرَةَ الْغِفَارِيِّ صَاحِبِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَمَعْنَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ : " لَا تَبْدَءُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى " ، قَالَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ : إِنَّمَا مَعْنَى : الْكَرَاهِيَةِ ، لِأَنَّهُ يَكُونُ تَعْظِيمًا لَهُمْ ، وَإِنَّمَا أُمِرَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ بِتَذْلِيلِهِمْ ، وَكَذَلِكَ إِذَا لَقِيَ أَحَدَهُمْ فِي الطَّرِيقِ فَلَا يَتْرُكِ الطَّرِيقَ عَلَيْهِ ، لِأَنَّ فِيهِ تَعْظِيمًا لَهُمْ .
Narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not initiate the greeting of peace with the Jews and Christians, and if you meet any of them on the road, force them to the narrowest part of it." © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is hasan sahih.
2- In this chapter, hadiths have also been narrated from Ibn Umar, Anas (may Allah be pleased with them), and Abu Basrah Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him).
3- And the meaning of the hadith is that you should not greet them first (rather, only respond to their greeting).
4- Some people of knowledge say: This is disliked because initiating the greeting would be honoring them, whereas Muslims have been commanded to humiliate them. Similarly, when meeting them on the road, do not give way to them, because that too would be honoring them (which is not correct).
Hadith 1619

أَبِيهِ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ : قِيلَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَا يَعْدِلُ الْجِهَادَ ؟ قَالَ : " إِنَّكُمْ لَا تَسْتَطِيعُونَهُ " ، فَرَدُّوا عَلَيْهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا كُلُّ ذَلِكَ ، يَقُولُ : " لَا تَسْتَطِيعُونَهُ " ، فَقَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ : " مَثَلُ الْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، مَثَلُ الْقَائِمِ الصَّائِمِ الَّذِي لَا يَفْتُرُ مِنْ صَلَاةٍ وَلَا صِيَامٍ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ الْمُجَاهِدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ " ، وَفِي الْبَاب ، عَنْ الشِّفَاءِ ، وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حُبْشِيٍّ ، وَأَبِي مُوسَى ، وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، وَأُمِّ مَالِكٍ الْبَهْزِيَّةِ ، وَأَنَسٍ ، وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that it was asked: O Messenger of Allah! Which deed is equal to Jihad in reward and merit? He replied: "You do not have the ability to do it." The companions repeated the same question before you two or three times, and each time you said: "You do not have the ability to do it." The third time you said: "The example of the one who strives in the path of Allah is like that of a person who fasts and prays continuously, not ceasing from prayer and fasting, until the warrior in the path of Allah returns." .
Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Sahih (good and authentic),
2- This hadith has come through several chains from Abu Hurairah in a marfu' (attributed to the Prophet) manner,
3- In this chapter, hadiths have also been narrated from Shifa, Abdullah bin Hubshi, Abu Musa, Abu Sa'id, Umm Malik Bahziyah, and Anas (may Allah be pleased with them).
Hadith 1636

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ، الْخَيْلُ لِثَلَاثَةٍ : هِيَ لِرَجُلٍ أَجْرٌ ، وَهِيَ لِرَجُلٍ سِتْرٌ ، وَهِيَ عَلَى رَجُلٍ وِزْرٌ ، فَأَمَّا الَّذِي لَهُ أَجْرٌ ، فَالَّذِي يَتَّخِذُهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَيُعِدُّهَا لَهُ هِيَ لَهُ أَجْرٌ ، لَا يَغِيبُ فِي بُطُونِهَا شَيْءٌ إِلَّا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ أَجْرًا " ، وَفِي الْحَدِيثِ قِصَّةٌ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَقَدْ رَوَى
مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ
زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ
أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، نَحْوَ هَذَا .
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection. Horses are of three kinds: one horse is a source of reward for a man, one is a means of covering (his honor and dignity), and one is a source of sin for a man. The man for whom the horse is a source of reward is the one who keeps it for jihad and prepares it for that purpose. This horse is a source of reward for that person; whatever (food) enters its belly, Allah, the Exalted, writes reward for him." There is a story mentioned in this hadith. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Sahih,
2- Malik bin Anas has narrated a similar hadith via: «زيد بن أسلم عن أبي صالح عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم».
Hadith 1656

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يُكْلَمُ أَحَدٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ يُكْلَمُ فِي سَبِيلِهِ ، إِلَّا جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ اللَّوْنُ لَوْنُ الدَّمِ ، وَالرِّيحُ رِيحُ الْمِسْكِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever is wounded in the way of Allah — and Allah knows best who is wounded in His way 1 — will come on the Day of Resurrection with his wound colored with blood, its fragrance will be that of musk." © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Sahih.
2- This hadith has also come from Abu Hurairah from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) through other chains.
Hadith 1666

إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ رَافِعٍ، عَنْ

أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ بِغَيْرِ أَثَرٍ مِنْ جِهَادٍ ، لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَفِيهِ ثُلْمَةٌ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ رَافِعٍ ، وَإِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ رَافِعٍ قَدْ ضَعَّفَهُ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْحَدِيثِ ، قَالَ " وسَمِعْت مُحَمَّدًا ، يَقُولُ : هُوَ ثِقَةٌ مُقَارِبُ الْحَدِيثِ ، وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَحَدِيثُ سَلْمَانَ إِسْنَادُهُ لَيْسَ بِمُتَّصِلٍ ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ لَمْ يُدْرِكْ سَلْمَانَ الْفَارِسِيَّ ، وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ
أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ
مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ
شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ السِّمْطِ، عَنْ
سَلْمَانَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، نَحْوَهُ .
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever meets Allah without any mark of jihad, he will meet Allah with a defect (shortcoming and fault) in him." © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith, through the chain of Walid bin Muslim from Ismail bin Rafi', is weak; some hadith scholars have declared Ismail bin Rafi' weak. I heard Muhammad bin Ismail Bukhari say: Ismail is trustworthy, close to being sound in hadith,
2- This hadith has also come through another chain from Abu Hurairah in a marfu' manner,
3- The chain of Salman’s hadith is not connected. Muhammad bin Munkadir did not meet Salman. This hadith is also narrated through the chain of «عن أيوب بن موسى عن مكحول عن شرحبيل بن السمط عن سلمان عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم».
Hadith 1668
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The martyr feels no more pain from being killed than one of you feels from a pinch." © Imam Tirmidhi says:
This hadith is hasan sahih ghareeb.
Hadith 1703
Narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The angels do not accompany a group of travelers among whom there is a dog or a bell." __QUR_N__ Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is hasan sahih,
2- In this chapter, there are also ahadith from 'Umar, 'Aishah, Umm Habibah, and Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with them all).
Hadith 1758
حَدَّثَنَا

يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْإِسْكَنْدَرَانِيُّ، عَنْ
سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " نَهَى عَنْ لِبْسَتَيْنِ : الصَّمَّاءِ ، وَأَنْ يَحْتَبِيَ الرَّجُلُ بِثَوْبِهِ لَيْسَ عَلَى فَرْجِهِ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَفِي الْبَاب ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ، وَابْنِ عُمَرَ ، وَعَائِشَةَ ، وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، وَجَابِرٍ ، وَأَبِي أُمَامَةَ ، وَحَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ، وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
Narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade two types of clothing: "One is 'Samma’', and the other is that a person wraps himself in a garment in such a way that no part of the garment remains over his private parts." 1. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- The hadith of Abu Hurairah through this chain is Hasan Sahih Gharib,
2- It has also come through other chains from Abu Hurairah in a Marfu’ manner,
3- In this chapter, there are also ahadith from Ali, Ibn Umar, Aisha, Abu Sa’id, Jabir, and Abu Umamah.
Hadith 1766
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wore a shirt, he would start from the right side. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
Several people have narrated this hadith with the chain «شعبة عن أبي هريرة» as a mawquf narration; apart from ‘Abdus-Samad bin ‘Abdul-Warith, who narrated it from Shu‘bah, we do not know of anyone who has narrated it as a marfu‘ narration.
Hadith 1801
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When any one of you eats food, let him lick his fingers, for he does not know in which of them the blessing is." __QUR_N__
Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Gharib.
2- I asked Muhammad bin Isma'il al-Bukhari about this hadith, and he said: This hadith of Abdul Aziz is of the category of Mukhtalif, and it is only known through his narration.
3- In this chapter, hadiths have also been narrated from Jabir, Ka'b bin Malik, and Anas (may Allah be pleased with them). We know it from this chain only through the narration of Suhail.
Hadith 1819
حَدَّثَنَا
إِسْحَاق بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا
مَعْنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا
مَالِكٌ، عَنْ
سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ
أَبِيهِ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " ضَافَهُ ضَيْفٌ كَافِرٌ فَأَمَرَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِشَاةٍ فَحُلِبَتْ فَشَرِبَ ، ثُمَّ أُخْرَى فَشَرِبَهُ ، ثُمَّ أُخْرَى فَشَرِبَهُ حَتَّى شَرِبَ حِلَابَ سَبْعِ شِيَاهٍ ، ثُمَّ أَصْبَحَ مِنَ الْغَدِ فَأَسْلَمَ ، فَأَمَرَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِشَاةٍ فَحُلِبَتْ فَشَرِبَ حِلَابَهَا ، ثُمَّ أَمَرَ لَهُ بِأُخْرَى فَلَمْ يَسْتَتِمَّهَا " ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْمُؤْمِنُ يَشْرَبُ فِي مَعْيٍ وَاحِدٍ ، وَالْكَافِرُ يَشْرَبُ فِي سَبْعَةِ أَمْعَاءٍ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ سُهَيْلٍ .
Narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a disbeliever guest came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered that a goat be milked for him. The goat was milked and he drank its milk. Then another was milked and he drank that too. In this way, he drank the milk of seven goats. Then, the next morning, he accepted Islam. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) ordered that a goat be milked for him. It was milked and he drank its milk. Then the Prophet ordered another, but he could not drink all of its milk. Upon this, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "A believer drinks in one intestine, and a disbeliever drinks in seven intestines." __REF_N__ Imam Tirmidhi says:
This hadith, through the narration of Suhail, is Hasan Sahih Gharib.
Hadith 1859
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Satan is very watchful and licks (his prey), so protect yourselves from him. Whoever spends the night while there is the smell of grease on his hand, and then some harm befalls him, let him blame only himself." © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is gharib through this chain,
2- This hadith is also narrated through the chain of «سهيل ابن أبي صالح عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم».
Hadith 1860
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever spends the night while there is the smell of grease on his hand, and then some harm befalls him, then let him blame no one but himself." © Imam Tirmidhi says:
This hadith is Hasan Gharib; we know it from this chain only through the narration of A'mash.
Hadith 1906
حَدَّثَنَا

سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ
أَبِيهِ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يَجْزِي وَلَدٌ وَالِدًا إِلَّا أَنْ يَجِدَهُ مَمْلُوكًا فَيَشْتَرِيَهُ فَيُعْتِقَهُ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، وَقَدْ رَوَى سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ ، وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ .
´Abu Hurairah narrated that:` the Messenger of Allah said: "A son could not do enough for his father, unless he found him as a slave and purchased him to set him free."
Hadith 1926
´Abu Hurairah narrated that:` the Messenger of Allah said: "The religion is An-Nasihah" three times. They said: "O Messenger of Allah! For Whom?" He said : "To Allah , His books, the A'immah of the Muslims, and their average people."
Hadith 1927
´Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:` : "The Muslim is the brother to the Muslim, he does not cheat him, lie to him, nor deceive him. All of the Muslim is unlawful to another Muslim: His Honor, his wealth, and his blood. At-taqwa is here. It is enough evil for a man that he belittle his brother Muslim."

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ نَفَّسَ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ الدُّنْيَا نَفَّسَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ، وَمَنْ يَسَّرَ عَلَى مُعْسِرٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا يَسَّرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ، وَمَنْ سَتَرَ عَلَى مُسْلِمٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا سَتَرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ، وَاللَّهُ فِي عَوْنِ الْعَبْدِ مَا كَانَ الْعَبْدُ فِي عَوْنِ أَخِيهِ " ، قَالَ : وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، وَعُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ أبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ ، وَقَدْ رَوَى أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، نَحْوَهُ ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرُوا فِيهِ : حُدِّثْتُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ .
´Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:` : "Whoever relieves a Muslim of a burden from the burdens of the world, Allah will relieve him of a burden from the burdens on the Day of Judgement. And whoever helps ease a difficulty in the world, Allah will grant him ease from a difficulty in the world and in the Hereafter. And whoever covers (the faults of) a Muslim, Allah will cover (his faults) for him in the world and the Hereafter. And Allah is engaged in helping the worshipper as long as the worshipper is engaged in helping his brother."

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَمْشِي فِي طَرِيقٍ إِذْ وَجَدَ غُصْنَ شَوْكٍ فَأَخَّرَهُ فَشَكَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ فَغَفَرَ لَهُ " ، وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ ، وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، وَأَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
´Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said :` "When a man was walking on the road, he found a thorny branch and removed it. Allah appreciated his action by forgiving him."

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " نِعِمَّا لِأَحَدِهِمْ أَنْ يُطِيعَ رَبَّهُ وَيُؤَدِّيَ حَقَّ سَيِّدِهِ " ، يَعْنِي : الْمَمْلُوكَ ، وَقَالَ كَعْبٌ : صَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ ، وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ، وَابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
´'Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:` "How wonderful it is for one of them that he obeys Allah and fulfills the rights of his master." Meaning the slave. And Ka'b said: "Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth."

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ : جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : عَلِّمْنِي شَيْئًا وَلَا تُكْثِرْ عَلَيَّ لَعَلِّي أَعِيهِ ، قَالَ : " لَا تَغْضَبْ " فَرَدَّدَ ذَلِكَ مِرَارًا ، كُلُّ ذَلِكَ يَقُولُ : " لَا تَغْضَبْ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، وَسُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ ، وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ، وَأَبُو حَصِينٍ اسْمُهُ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ الْأَسَدِيُّ .
´Abu Hurairah narrated that a man came to the Messenger of Allah and said:` "Teach me something that is not too much for me so that, perhaps, I may abide by it." He (S.A.W) said: "Do not get angry." He repeated that (the request) a number of times, each time he replied: 'Do not get angry."

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " تُفَتَّحُ أَبْوَابُ الْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَ الِاثْنَيْنِ وَالْخَمِيسِ فَيُغْفَرُ فِيهِمَا لِمَنْ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا إِلَّا الْمُهْتَجِرَيْنِ ، يُقَالُ : رُدُّوا هَذَيْنِ حَتَّى يَصْطَلِحَا " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَيُرْوَى فِي بَعْضِ الْحَدِيثِ : " ذَرُوا هَذَيْنِ حَتَّى يَصْطَلِحَا " ، قَالَ : وَمَعْنَى قَوْلِهِ الْمُهْتَجِرَيْنِ : يَعْنِي الْمُتَصَارِمَيْنِ ، وَهَذَا مِثْلُ مَا رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " لَا يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ " .
´Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.A.W) said:` "The gates of Paradise are opened on Monday and Thursday. In them, (will enter) whoever has not associated anything with Allah will be forgiven, except for the two who shun each other, (about whom) it is said: 'Return these two until they make amends."

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ مِنْ شَرِّ النَّاسِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ذَا الْوَجْهَيْنِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، وَعَمَّارٍ ، وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
´Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:` "Indeed among the worst of people to Allah, on the Day of Judgment, is the two faced person."
Hadith 2043

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَرَاهُ رَفَعَهُ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِحَدِيدَةٍ جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَحَدِيدَتُهُ فِي يَدِهِ يَتَوَجَّأُ بِهَا فِي بَطْنِهِ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ ، خَالِدًا مُخَلَّدًا أَبَدًا ، وَمَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِسُمٍّ ، فَسُمُّهُ فِي يَدِهِ يَتَحَسَّاهُ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدًا مُخَلَّدًا أَبَدًا " .
´Abu Hurairah narrated (from the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w)):` "Whoever kills himself with (an instrument of)iron, he will come on the Day Of Judgment with his iron in his hand, to continually stab himself in his stomach with it, in the fire of Jahannam, dwelling in that state eternally. And whoever kills himself with poison, then his poison will be in his hand, to continually take it in the Fire of Jahannam, dwelling in that state eternally."

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِحَدِيدَةٍ فَحَدِيدَتُهُ فِي يَدِهِ يَتَوَجَّأُ بِهَا فِي بَطْنِهِ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ ، خَالِدًا مُخَلَّدًا فِيهَا أَبَدًا ، وَمَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِسُمٍّ ، فَسُمُّهُ فِي يَدِهِ يَتَحَسَّاهُ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدًا مُخَلَّدًا فِيهَا أَبَدًا ، وَمَنْ تَرَدَّى مِنْ جَبَلٍ فَقَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ فَهُوَ يَتَرَدَّى فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدًا مُخَلَّدًا فِيهَا أَبَدًا "
´Abu Hurairah narrated (that the the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w)) said:` "Whoever kills himself with (an instrument of)iron, his iron will be in his hand, to continually stab himself in his stomach with it, in the fire of Jahannam, dwelling in that state eternally. And whoever kills himself with poison, then his poison will be in his hand, to continually take it in the Fire of Jahannam, dwelling in that state eternally. And whoever throws himself from a mountain to kill himself, then he will be continually throwing himself in the Fire of Jahannam, dwelling in that state eternally." Another chain reports a similar narration.

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَهُوَ أَصَحُّ مِنَ الْحَدِيثِ الْأَوَّلِ ، هَكَذَا رَوَى غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَرَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِسُمٍّ ، عُذِّبَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ " وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ خَالِدًا مُخَلَّدًا فِيهَا أَبَدًا ، وَهَكَذَا رَوَاهُ أَبُو الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهَذَا أَصَحُّ لِأَنَّ الرِّوَايَاتِ إِنَّمَا تَجِيءُ بِأَنَّ أَهْلَ التَّوْحِيدِ يُعَذَّبُونَ فِي النَّارِ ، ثُمَّ يُخْرَجُونَ مِنْهَا ، وَلَمْ يُذْكَرْ أَنَّهُمْ يُخَلَّدُونَ فِيهَا .
`From this chain as well` a similar hadith is narrated from Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, as is narrated through the way of Shu’bah. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is authentic and more authentic than the previous hadith,
2- Similarly, several people have narrated this hadith through the chain of «عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم»,
3- Muhammad bin ‘Ajlan has narrated through the chain of «عن سعيد المقبري عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم», he said: “Whoever commits suicide by poison will be subjected to punishment in Hell,” in this hadith the narrator did not mention that “he will remain in Hell forever.” Abu Al-Zinad has also narrated similarly through the chain of «عن الأعرج عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم», this is more authentic, because it is mentioned in the narrations that “after being punished, the people of Tawheed will be taken out of Hell,” and it is not mentioned that they will be kept in Hell forever.

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " احْتَجَّ آدَمُ وَمُوسَى ، فَقَالَ مُوسَى : يَا آدَمُ ، أَنْتَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكَ اللَّهُ بِيَدِهِ ، وَنَفَخَ فِيكَ مِنْ رُوحِهِ أَغْوَيْتَ النَّاسَ وَأَخْرَجْتَهُمْ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ آدَمُ : وَأَنْتَ مُوسَى الَّذِي اصْطَفَاكَ اللَّهُ بِكَلَامِهِ أَتَلُومُنِي عَلَى عَمَلٍ عَمِلْتُهُ كَتَبَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ، قَالَ : فَحَجَّ آدَمُ مُوسَى " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عُمَرَ ، وَجُنْدَبٍ ، وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ، مِنْ حَدِيثِ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، وَقَدْ رَوَى بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ ، وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ : عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
´Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet(S.A.W) said:` "Adam and Musa argued, Musa said: "O Adam! You are the one that Allah created with His Hand, and blew into you of His Spirit, and you misled the people and caused them to be expelled from Paradise.' So Adam said: 'You are Musa, the one Allah selected with His Speech! Are you blaming me for something I did which Allah had decreed for me, before creating the heavens and the earth?'" He said: " So Adam confuted Musa."
Hadith 2138
´'Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:` "Every child is born upon the Millah, then his parents make him a Jew, a Christian, or an idolater." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah! What about those who die before that?" He said: "Allah knows best what they would have done." [Another chain) with similar in meaning, and he said: "Born upon the Fiirah."
Hadith 2138
‘With this chain also,’ a similar hadith is narrated from Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, (but) in it, instead of «يولد على الملة», the words are «الفطرة» “is born upon the nature of Islam.” © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is hasan sahih,
2- It has also been narrated by Shu’bah and others with the chain of «عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم», and in that narration also are the words of «يولد على الفطرة»,
3- In this chapter, it is also narrated from Aswad bin Sari’, may Allah be pleased with him.
Hadith 2331
´Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:` "The lifespan for my Ummah is from sixty years to seventy [years]."
Hadith 2338
´Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet (s.a.w) said:` "The heart of an old man remains young because of love for two things: Long life , and much wealth."
Hadith 2373
´Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:` "Richness is not having many possessions, but richness is being content with oneself."

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَجُلٌ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , الرَّجُلُ يَعْمَلُ الْعَمَلَ فَيُسِرُّهُ فَإِذَا اطُّلِعَ عَلَيْهِ أَعْجَبَهُ ذَلِكَ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَهُ أَجْرَانِ أَجْرُ السِّرِّ وَأَجْرُ الْعَلَانِيَةِ " , قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ ، وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ
الْأَعْمَشُ، وَغَيْرُهُ , عَنْ
حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ
أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُرْسَلًا ، وَأَصْحَابُ الْأَعْمَشِ لَمْ يَذْكُرُوا فِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَقَدْ فَسَّرَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ ، فَقَالَ : إِذَا اطُّلِعَ عَلَيْهِ فَأَعْجَبَهُ فَإِنَّمَا مَعْنَاهُ أَنْ يُعْجِبَهُ ثَنَاءُ النَّاسِ عَلَيْهِ بِالْخَيْرِ ، لِقَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنْتُمْ شُهَدَاءُ اللَّهِ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيُعْجِبُهُ ثَنَاءُ النَّاسِ عَلَيْهِ ، لِهَذَا لِمَا يَرْجُو بِثَنَاءِ النَّاسِ عَلَيْهِ فَأَمَّا إِذَا أَعْجَبَهُ لِيَعْلَمَ النَّاسُ مِنْهُ الْخَيْرَ ، لِيُكْرَمَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ وَيُعَظَّمَ عَلَيْهِ فَهَذَا رِيَاءٌ " , وَقَالَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ : إِذَا اطُّلِعَ عَلَيْهِ فَأَعْجَبَهُ رَجَاءَ أَنْ يَعْمَلَ بِعَمَلِهِ فَيَكُونُ لَهُ مِثْلُ أُجُورِهِمْ ، فَهَذَا لَهُ مَذْهَبٌ أَيْضًا .
´Abu Hurairah narrated that A man said:` "O Messenger of Allah! A man does a deed and conceals it, but when it is discovered that he did it, he is happy about that." He said: " The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'He receives two rewards: A reward in its concealment, and a reward in its publicity.'"
Hadith 2401
´Abu Hurairah (narrated from) the Prophet(s.a.w) who said:` "Allah, Mighty and Sublime is He, said: 'For whomever I take his sight, and he is patient and seeking a reward, I shall not be satisfied with any reward for him less than Paradise.'"

مَالِكُ بْنُ سُعَيْرٍ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمِيمِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا
الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ
أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، وَعَنْ
أَبِي سَعِيدٍ , قَالَا : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يُؤْتَى بِالْعَبْدِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ لَهُ : أَلَمْ أَجْعَلْ لَكَ سَمْعًا وَبَصَرًا وَمَالًا وَوَلَدًا وَسَخَّرْتُ لَكَ الْأَنْعَامَ وَالْحَرْثَ وَتَرَكْتُكَ تَرْأَسُ وَتَرْبَعُ ، فَكُنْتَ تَظُنُّ أَنَّكَ مُلَاقِي يَوْمَكَ هَذَا ؟ قَالَ : فَيَقُولُ : لَا ، فَيَقُولُ لَهُ : الْيَوْمَ أَنْسَاكَ كَمَا نَسِيتَنِي " , قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ ، وَمَعْنَى قَوْلِهِ الْيَوْمَ أَنْسَاكَ , يَقُولُ : الْيَوْمَ أَتْرُكُكَ فِي الْعَذَابِ هَكَذَا فَسَّرُوهُ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَقَدْ فَسَّرَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ فَالْيَوْمَ نَنْسَاهُمْ سورة الأعراف آية 51 , قَالُوا : إِنَّمَا مَعْنَاهُ الْيَوْمَ نَتْرُكُهُمْ فِي الْعَذَابِ .
´Abu Salih reported from Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa'eed that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:` "The servant will be brought on the Day of Judgement, and He will say to hi: 'Did I not give you hearing, sight, wealth, children, and did I not make the cattle and tillage subservient to you, and did I not leave you as the head of people taking from their wealth? Did you not think that you would have to meet with Me on this Day of yours?' So he will say: 'No.' So it will be said to him: 'Today you shall be forgotten just as you have forgotten Me.'" [Abü 'Elsa said:] This Hadith is Sahih Gharib and the meaning of His saying: "Today you shall be forgotten just as you have forgotten Me" is: Today I shall leave you in chastisement. [This is how they have explained it]. [Abu 'Eisa said:] This is how some of the people of knowledge have explained this Ayah: So this Day We shall forget them...They said that it means: We shall leave them in chastisement.
Hadith 2453

يُوسُفُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ أَبُو عُمَرَ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا
حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، عَنِ
ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنِ
الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ
أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ شِرَّةً وَلِكُلِّ شِرَّةٍ فَتْرَةً ، فَإِنْ كَانَ صَاحِبُهَا سَدَّدَ وَقَارَبَ فَارْجُوهُ ، وَإِنْ أُشِيرَ إِلَيْهِ بِالْأَصَابِعِ فَلَا تَعُدُّوهُ " , قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ، وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " بِحَسْبِ امْرِئٍ مِنَ الشَّرِّ أَنْ يُشَارَ إِلَيْهِ بِالْأَصَابِعِ فِي دِينٍ أَوْ دُنْيَا إِلَّا مَنْ عَصَمَهُ اللَّهُ " .
Narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Everything has a zeal and enthusiasm, and every zeal and enthusiasm has a period of weakness. So if its adopter proceeds with moderation and remains close to the truth, then hope for his betterment, but if he is pointed at with fingers, then do not count him as anything." © Imam Tirmidhi says:
This hadith is Hasan Sahih Gharib through this chain. It is narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is sufficient for a man's corruption that fingers are raised towards him regarding his religion or his worldly affairs, except for the one whom Allah protects."
Hadith 2513
´Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:` "Look to one who is lower than you, and do not look to one who is above you. For indeed that is more worthy(so that you will) not belittle Allah's favors upon you."
Hadith 2554
´Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:` "Do you crowd one another in order to see the moon on the night of a full moon? Do you crowd one another in order to see the sun?" They said: "No." He said: "So verily, you shall see your Lord as you see the moon on the night of a full moon, you shall not crowd one another to see Him." Other chains report similar narrations.
Hadith 2574
´Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:` "Some of the Fire (in the shape of a long neck) will come out of the Fire on the Day of judgment. It will have two eyes which can see, two ears which can hear, and a tongue which can speak. It will say: 'I have been left in charge of three: Every obstinate oppressor, everyone who called upon a deity besides Allah, and the image makers." Other chains report similar narrations.
