Sunan Nasai 4460 — Avoiding doubtful sources of earning

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي خَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ يَأْكُلُونَ الرِّبَا ، فَمَنْ لَمْ يَأْكُلْهُ أَصَابَهُ مِنْ غُبَارِهِ " .

´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah said: "There will come a time when there will be no one left who does not consume Riba, and whoever does not consume it will nevertheless be affected by residue." (Sahih )

Benefits and Issues:
This narration is weak in its chain of transmission.
And in an authentic hadith, it is stated that until the Day of Judgment, there will certainly remain a group that will be dominant upon the truth and steadfast upon it. The aforementioned narration points towards the general state of livelihood.
This is now being witnessed in practice,
that the entire economy has been trapped in the grip of usury (riba).
And to avoid it is an act of great resolve.
And the number of those who completely avoid it is very small.
