وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ، كَانَ يَقُولُ : " إِذَا نُتِجَتِ النَّاقَةُ، فَلْيُحْمَلْ وَلَدُهَا حَتَّى يُنْحَرَ مَعَهَا، فَإِنْ لَمْ يُوجَدْ لَهُ مَحْمَلٌ، حُمِلَ عَلَى أُمِّهِ، حَتَّى يُنْحَرَ مَعَهَا "
It is narrated from Nafi‘ that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) used to say: When a she-camel that is to be offered as Hadi gives birth, then take its calf along as well and sacrifice it together with its mother. If there is no ride available to take it along, then make it ride on its mother so that it may be slaughtered together with her.
