وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَرَى عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ، " يُهْدِي فِي الْحَجِّ بَدَنَتَيْنِ بَدَنَتَيْنِ، وَفِي الْعُمْرَةِ بَدَنَةً بَدَنَةً، قَالَ : وَرَأَيْتُهُ فِي الْعُمْرَةِ يَنْحَرُ بَدَنَةً، وَهِيَ قَائِمَةٌ فِي دَارِ خَالِدِ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ، وَكَانَ فِيهَا مَنْزِلُهُ، قَالَ : وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ طَعَنَ فِي لَبَّةِ بَدَنَتِهِ، حَتَّى خَرَجَتِ الْحَرْبَةُ مِنْ تَحْتِ كَتِفِهَا "
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Dinar that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to offer two camels as sacrificial animals (hady) during Hajj and one camel during Umrah. I saw him slaughtering his camel while it was standing at the house of Khalid bin Asid, where he used to stay. And I saw him during Umrah that he struck his camel in the neck with a spear until it came out from its shoulder.
