Muwatta Malik (Yahya) 791 — What the Muhrim is Permitted to Do
حَدَّثَنِي حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ التَّيْمِيِّ ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْهُدَيْرِ ، أَنَّهُ " رَأَى عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ يُقَرِّدُ بَعِيرًا لَهُ فِي طِينٍ بِالسُّقْيَا وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ " .
قَالَ مَالِك : وَأَنَا أَكْرَهُهُ
قَالَ مَالِك : وَأَنَا أَكْرَهُهُ
It is narrated from Rabi'ah bin Abdullah that he saw Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) removing lice from his camel and throwing the lice into the dust at the place of Suqya, and he was in the state of Ihram.
Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I consider this act to be disliked.
