حَدَّثَنِي حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي الْفُرَافِصَةُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ بِالْعَرْجِ " يُغَطِّي وَجْهَهُ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ "
It is narrated from Faraafisah bin Umair Hanafi that he saw Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, at ‘Arj (the name of a village, three stages from Madinah), covering his face in ihram.
