Muwatta Malik (Yahya) 330 — on combining two prayers in residence
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ " كَانَ إِذَا جَمَعَ الْأُمَرَاءُ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ فِي الْمَطَرِ جَمَعَ مَعَهُمْ "
It is narrated from Nafi' that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) would combine Maghrib and Isha prayers with the rulers at the time of rain.
