Muwatta Malik (Yahya) 252 — on what is reported regarding standing
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبِي ، يَقُولُ : " كُنَّا نَنْصَرِفُ فِي رَمَضَانَ فَنَسْتَعْجِلُ الْخَدَمَ بِالطَّعَامِ مَخَافَةَ الْفَجْرِ "
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Abi Bakr, he used to say: I heard from my father, he used to say that when we finished Tarawih in Ramadan, we would ask the servants to bring food quickly out of fear that dawn might break.
